Thanks! Catching up on classes during winter break?

I was looking at that Nikon camera too but I just paid off my credit card so yeah didn't want to re-add to my card again haha.

 

^Classes started for me yesterday, so Forza is only on the weekends now

Santa was somewhat generous this Christmas with money so that's how I paid for the camera. I've been looking around at DSLR's for over 6 months and finally pulled the trigger. In the last year or so I've really gotten into photography so I thought it was time for a nice camera. I have a 5 year old Kodak P&S that has the front facia falling off. It still works and takes somewhat good pictures, but it just isn't doing what I want from a camera.

 

Dang that sucks I don't go back till Mon. So I'm gonna try to fill in as much Forza before then.

Should try some campus excursions when your camera gets in. *If you live on campus*

Unfortunately I go to a community college so I drive to school. The campus isn't really that nice so I'm not going to take pictures of it haha.

I gave the wheel I had back to my friend. I gave up on it lol, I wonder if any of the top leaderboard guys use a MS wheel.

 

^If you are casual about Forza and don't like the wheel, then I'm sure the guys that play professionally want to burn that thing

The microsoft wheel I tried sucked. I borrowed it from a friend for about 2 weeks and I really tried. I drove a lot with it but I could never beat my lap times with a controller. I tried another one at the mall and it was ok but still controller gets faster lap times. Never tried the Fanatec wheel so can't comment on that.

So I have a question...

I bought the Limited Collectors Edition of Forza 3, therefore I got the VIP "status", extra cars, etc. I go to download the new car pack this afternoon and it says I still have to use 400 Microsoft Points to get the new cars. I thought the VIP members got the new cars for free?
