Not really. I just make sure the sun is beside the car most of the time. Then I step back away from the car and then zoom in a bunch and try to line up about 30 degrees from the rear left or (preferably) right side of the rear bumper.

 

So for Xmas I got Assassins Creed 2 and the GTA4 extra stories so solid gold might be on hold for a bit haha

But that's pretty tempting. I got GTA4 when it came out but I don't have the extra stories.

 

I know...I got 100% completion in all the GTAs since GTA3 so I feel the need to complete the expansion as well.

lol Im working my way through the Event List

been going for leaderboard times as I am working my way through, mostly with random cars but I can get in the top 1% fairly consistently. A few times I have been able to pull off a top 250 time, when I get the chance to use a leaderboard capable car such as my 03 Celica or Audi S5

 

I actually got my wife playin a lot now haha, she even cares about keeping her laps clean now and trying to go for leaderboard times lo

 

Career completion % is at 48.5%

ugh this is gonna take awhile to complete the events list lol

 

My girlfriend will play with me every once in a while, but I don't let her play career. She would just fuck things up

Last time I checked I think I was at 45% done with career. Shit takes forever.

I have three things to rant about:

First-last night I did the 13th and final race of the R1 Championship in Season 6. I was so damn happy. I started season 7 and did my first set of races, Class D Super Track Days, then after that it says I'm doing the R1 World Championship AGAIN? WTF?!? I don't want to do that bullshit again, I hated it.

Second-I'm so damn sick of getting penalized for drafting or having somebody draft off of me. I feel like I'm always having a stupid fast lap and then I get a little triangle with a "!" in it just because I passed some slow fuck and then he got behind me. It's not my fault that I'm shitting on him so why the hell would I get penalized?

Third-Why does it matter where I cross the finish line to start a new lap? If I don't cross exactly where the game thinks I should, I start the new lap with a damn triangle with a "!" once again. Like what the fuck? As long as I cross the line, what difference does it make? Shit drives me up a wall.

 

lol well for the first problem, there is no point in doing season 7. On the forza forums they say just switch to event list at that point

Second-This annoys me as well but its like this for a reason. I read on the Forza forums guys were bump draftin each other a lot in Forza2 so they put it in as a precautionary thing. If you really want to go for a leaderboard time you have to just go to Free Play > Hot Laps.

Third-Its not where u cross the line, its if you got a ! too close to the end of the previous lap it carries over to the next one. This is to prevent someone from illegaly carrying too much speed into the next lap.

 

^If I just go to the Event List, will I still get credit for doing Season 7?

And those are all good points that I never thought about. It's just frustrating as shit.

 

I don't think there is any reason to do season 7. Everything I have read online says after season 6 just switch to Event List to finish off the races.

 

damnit im can't get my stupid 360 to connect to live.

 

I've got 2 more races in the Class C Asia Tour. Once I'm done with those, I'll just start from the Event List. I've got 1.2 million credits and I'm so temped to spend them all.

 

You are lucky you are VIP you guys get a bunch of free cars. I was reading they send you guys cars all the time.

 

Picked up Forza and the wheel. What a great game but I find it much more difficult with the wheel. Maybe its takes getting used to?

I've never personally used the wheel but I've heard it takes some time to get used to.

I found it extremely difficult, my wheel has been moved to the closet. I gave up on using it, and believe me I tried and I tried but my times were always slower with the wheel.

So not fair....

Gah I want to try a Fanatec wheel so bad! Have you done any testing to see if you improved laptimes using the wheel versus the controller?

My FM3 has been freezing a lot lately, I don't know maybe the laser is busted or maybe it's because I've left that game in there for 3 weeks without playing.

 

Try installing it to the hard drive, solved all my problems
