Morelia.

It's a beautiful 16th century colonial city, the capital of Michoacán

a few times a week you seem confused about pretty key details...
so I'm just checking.

Looks good! Personally, I'd paint the main grill surround to match, but it definitely looks more modern with the new headlights.

I have been leaning that way too. I'll decide when I take it to have the bumpers and panels under the headlights fixed.

I know but at that price for not alot more in the scheme of things I can get better aftermarket rims. If I can find a set with decent tires near that price though......

What else are you gonna spend your money on? Running Illegals across the border to do your yard work? Get some wheels!
The sooner you're done, the sooner you can part out and sell this piece of shit. I'm bored of it already.

LOL but no.

Not this time, I'm keeping this one 5Evah!

Sorry you are bored, here's something completely different to peak your fancy. The topic is dog doors.

That is a 14 year old 600 dollar dog door (not a fucking typo) These flaps and the "kit" they come in are 190 bucks retail.

I ordered them a week ago, still not shipped. Not why I bring this up.

On both sides the screws I need to unscrew are behind the trim that is sealed by god. No way it comes apart without destroying the thin shitty aluminum.

You can see the bottom of the screw heads in the first picture below.

I'm thinking dremel cutting the frame away to access the screws. What say ye?

Git yerfself a new dog. A much smaller one that can use a mouse hole.
Hmmm...$600...that seems, well...like a fucking ripoff.
Razor to that ugly thing. Cut it out, what's a little AC loss to your neighbors.
Also teach the dog to piss outside and not on the door. Protip.

Luckily, it was there when we bought the house, I found out how expensive the damn thing was last week when I started looking for new flaps.

Neither dog pisses inside anywhere, that is 14 years of their noses blasting through the door like a boss (actually 5 different dogs) over that time.

I got them here for 163 with a 5 buck coupon:

So will this replace the entire thing or do you need to figure out bending the top aluminum out of the way to replace.

Yup, step 1 in all disassembly activities for me is being damn sure I can reassemble.

I opened the fill ports, checked the fluid, did a happy dance & put the plugs back.

I also checked the real zerks and all were full. Did another happy dance that the whole suspension is serviceable.

I checked all the bushings, tie rods, ball joints etc. All look new except for minor sea air corrosion. I thought my exhaust was rusty until I saw this video.

Fixed the powerwasher with a 3100 psi pump. Working better than new. Only issues are the original which is NLA has the hoses coming out the sides, all the available pumps are front or back. I got one that comes oy the front because the axle was in the way out the back, second issue is the bolts are too long so I used nuts to take up the space.

First real detail, used the foam cannon & claybar.
