My place did an employee survey and, predictably, 50%+ are in favor of a hybrid/flexible plan forward.
So management was like, "awesome! thanks for the great data folks... we're not doing that. we need to be face-to-face, oh and bonus, we're still going to do that whole 'able to reduce our footprint' thing and we'll cram more people into an office. You're welcome!"
52k employees?
We've got about 4-500 total. About 40 in the corp office in Houston. Probably 40-50% of our headcount is in the field & another 10% being lab personnel who don't qualify for WFH .
4/16 I ordered Dobinsons rear springs for my Sequoia. A few days later I got an email they were backordered shipping 6/30. Monday, 6/28 I emailed asking if the date was still good.
NOTHING.
Tuesday I called sat on hold for 25 minutes before I gave up & sent another email, nada, Wednesday another 25 minute hold, Thursday a message through their webform NOTHING, today I called and was prompted to leave a message after being "#1 in line" for 3+ minutes within an hour three hours ago.
I reached out to Dobbinsons & they sent me tracking.
I was thinking about getting the Vivid forged rims, forget it, I'll never spend another cent with them.
My girth comes in handy! After standing on & bouncing up & down I got three of 10 off. 114 & 22% outside (more in the garage I'm certain) after 3 I started to burst into flames so came inside.
I wanna kill whoever overtorqued the shit out of these lugs.
Cold water. No mind altering substances in 28 years.
Wrong again, flat up.
Breaker bar & jack handle was the solution. Front is worse, had to put it back on the ground, and apparently, the lugs have a cover, that slipped until it came off, I was not thinking, tried to pull it from the socket & BURNED THE SHIT OUT OF MY THUMB & FOREFINGER.
Hits keep coming. My 180$$$ clamp spring compressor does not fit. Figured I'll wait for the specialized "stick with clamps" needed to put through a hole in the bottom of the lower control arm to come and just do the "simple" shocks.
NO! first the old one was in there stupendously tightly so pita getting out and I managed to get the Bilstein in but not to where I can get the bolt in.
I put the truck down thinking the weight would push it up there, not yet. Gonna take it around the block and see if I get a break.
0 & my compressor died mid putting the front tires back on (275 70 20's are HEAVY!)
This is what people are using successfully:
It, sway bar bushings, end links and new lugs are coming today, problem is so are my Wife, Son & his girlfriend & Daughter and her girlfriend and I need the truck to pick all of them up at the airport at 6pm.
