Congrats... Your TL was a work of art. Hopefully you don't regret selling like I do everyday. But I jumped into a car that isn't too mod friendly (well not for the prices of the TL), so you may not have that problem. Enjoy in good health!!!

Sorry to read that. Now drop that bish and put some nice wheels on it! You can still rock a non-ideal situation the best you can, LOL!

That's why the ability to bring back everything to stock by keeping stock parts around is win-win.

But in your defense, a stock S2K is a very complete package to begin with.

Congrats, Tyler! There's nothing like being able to realize something you've dreamed about and wanted for a long time. And that s2k looks really clean. Now, put on your big boy pants, ignore the wife, and mod the car.

Your 3G TL was a gem, too. I'm sure you will miss it.....until you hit 8k in your S2000 on your way to work.
Bob, thank you so much for the kind words! I'm so excited about this little thing. I know I'll miss the TL, but just like you said, I don't think about it all while cruising in the S2k.

I'm glad I could join your club

Quite the compliment! Thank you! The TL has been great to me but I got bored of it.

Working at a Lexus dealership, I drive our vehicles all of the time, and my favorite besides the RCF is the GS350 F-Sport. It's a perfect blend of sport and luxury. You have a hell of a car...enjoy it!

If someone doesn't say the S2k is fun, then they need a swift kick in the balls

I've always liked the idea of having a convertible but could convince myself that I could use one everyday. However, even with temps hovering around 100 on Thursday, I drove nearly 2 hours home with the top down and music up. It was a hell of a feeling.

Drive the 458 down and we can swap for a day. Or week. Month. Year. Whatever you would like Thanks again for your kind words, Mark!

Thank you Jack! It's hard to believe that it's mine sometimes. I'll mod the car once you get aftermarket wheels on yours

That's all I've been looking at lately, and I'm not particularly patient when it comes to getting things I've determined I want.

Congrats Tyler. Your TL had been my phone wallpaper for well over a year, and I always enjoyed reading through your build. You deserve the S2000, and I look forward to following your journey with the new ride. I'm glad you decided to stay in the Honda family.

Might I ask.. were you considering anything else instead of the S2000?

Thank you so much! You're too kind

There are tons of other cars out there that I like, however when it came to picking ONE that I knew I would love for many years to come, I knew the S2000 would fill that requirement. I tend to get bored with cars very quickly and with just buying a house, I need a vehicle that I'll enjoy even in stock form because the house is my primary project.

I considered an Audi Allroad and a Lexus IS350 F-Sport, but I couldn't justify the price. For a third of what those cars go for, I have a vehicle that puts a smile on my face even when I'm just looking at it in the garage. As soon as I told family and close friends that I bought a S2k, they all said "you've been drooling over that car for years! About time you got one!". It was the right decision and I'm loving every second

Thanks Alex! It's so damn fun

Mitzi drove it as soon as we got it home. She did well initially but then stalled 4 times in a row and gave up

Thank you sir! 2015 is quite the year so far! The plan was to get a S2k early next year after the wedding and such, but you can see that plan went to shit I had to have it!

Peer pressure.

If I didn't have 2 kids and the house I probably would have had one years ago. I use the kids as a reason not to get one now. it's not really working.

S2000 is very kid friendly...in that you can't put kids in one.

But women don't think logically like that.. she'll be like, but 18K, you can get me a bigger ring hun...

Tell her it's your dream car, you've pictured it during time with her and keep that emotional connection. Bitches love emotional purchases.

That'll do it

I've always wanted a S2K...... someday.... I hope...... Gotta finish college first and work on getting me and the misses a house LOL.

Before I registered as a member on Azine, I would always look at your TL and be like fuuuck I NEED a WDP! There was just something about it! But I couldn't find one for the life of me and had to get a RBP, its grown on me and treated me nicely so far though!
