And say no to any type of engine swap. Are you kidding me!? It's a S2K, not a NA Miata.

The new engine is fantastic! Of course there isn't quite as much noise now that the stock intake is installed, but I'm not heartbroken over it. That just means that it's time for catback
Edit: YouTube video, y u no embed?!
Didn't you have a track incident.. or was that someone else..
I would have kept the intake and just been careful around water.. you know.. don't drive through it, don't start car in it, etc.

shit man, with a stock S2k it gets downright scary even when you push it in the dry. I cannot even imagine adding more power to this thing. Driving in the wet, there's always a pucker factor with the S2k which is why rain is Jeep weather. There's a lot of people that ride in mine thinking "oh, only 240hp at the top end? My (insert mediocre car here) has more power than that" only to be screaming in fear 2 minutes later. I think the noise and drama of the little 4 banger is half of what makes people freak out.
I know for a fact that the slowest component in the car is me and until that gets upgraded, there's no use in changing any go fast part.

Link to sound sample? I kinda want more sound out of my exhaust. And make it have a deeper tone.

That's why even after 8 track days, I haven't added any engine mods. I can make pretty much make anyone shit their pants in my 150lb of torque monster.

I'll have to plan another track day with you soon, just need to find the time & money to shell out for a new set of summer tires.

My V12 Evo2s aren't quite done yet
Anytime, Tyler. I'm planning to organize a track day event with my canyon run group once every month from September. Just let me know whenever. I'll send out the event invite on FB.
I think you will love the Streets of Willow. We should go there!

It's times like this I wish I lived in Cali...
Then I remember I have all the water I want and my cost of living is low.

and you can avoid almost everything on your list of negatives, if you want.
You also failed to mention any of the positives.
LOL...that's definitely not true. Nowhere here does not have AC. So you might feel it on your walk to the car from a store...other than that, you really don't deal with it unless you choose to.

We have teh bitches all over Cali.

You see them all small boobs, big boobs, fake boobs, real boobs, spray tans, real tans, tan lines the list goes on.

Not gonna lie...
I need to spend the last part of my life smoking spliffs somewhere from Monterrey or South on a cliff overlooking the sun setting over the Pacific.
