GDamn that sounds good!!!

So what exactly did you do to the exhaust, new mufflers and increase the pipe diameter? The tips look the same to me as before besides the outlet hole looks larger?

And I agree with Green, next car's gotta be a V8. I haven't had one since my very first car when I was 17 y/o lol.

I didnt take any before pics oops.

Bascially where to two black flowmasters are now there were two smaller mufflers. And then at the before the tips where you'd normally find mufflers were two two big ass resonators, which is why it looks like a ton of space in that area now.

Just cut out the stock muffler and resonators and replaced it with the flowmasters super 44s with pipe back to the stock tips. Stock pipe diameter is already 2.5" and I stuck with that.

Most catback and x pipe systems for this car are 12-1500 and I havent heard one I truly loved yet...but I heard someone do this much less expensive set up and months ago and knew it was the right sound. Its American muscle baby!

I dont like blacked out lights. I'm thinking of gluing them to the leather for a mohair kind of interior.

Don't go overboard

Although I'm thinking a gunmetal wheel would look great.

Not going overboard.

As for wheels, I have my idea for them. But that will probably be one of the very last things I'll do.

I actually really like the stock wheels for now.

Exhaust sounds nice. I think the all season tires detract from the look of the car, but I know it sucks to replace the tires on a brand new car. That thing would look nasty with some nice wide rubber with aggressive tread.

No they are not connected. This is fine by me at the moment. I'll look into getting an actual catback later down the line. Other plans first.

Hey Sarlacc, i have 2 exhaust systems for the Challenger. One is a stock SRT8, the other is some kind of aftermarket setup. You can have them for free. But i admit, it'd be a bitch to ship them.

Those are the 20" Heritage wheels that come stock on the Classic models...but a lot of people (such as this car) got them aftermarket before the Classic even existed.

Not a big fan of those wheels.

What about custom welding in a connecting point between the two individual pipes to create a customer "X" pipe? Is that even an option or would the bends be too complicated?

Very nice car...I have to say, although the camaro and mustangs have done great with the retro, I think the challenger looks most like it's original form. And once lowered, it's just so mean looking.!

That would just cause the exhaust to crash. A proper Y setup would do wonders. But he doesn't need to equalize the exhaust pulses due to the efficiency of his motor as is. H pipe would be more for sound, while an X pipe may give him a little tq in the mod range. Again, with the amount of tq his motor puts out, he's ok with no crossover.
