Sarlacc's Challenger Updates

Installed a Catch Can today.

At the moment it won't fit with the engine cover on, so I pulled it off for the time being. So, here are some engine shots you guys wanted.

The Catch Can collects excess oil and moisture thats gets recycled and sprayed back into the engine manifold. It can be a cause for engine sludge, etc. So, this is typically the first mod done almost all the Challenger owners.

The issue we didnt know about was that they redesigned the intake box for the 2010 model. So, the CC wouldnt fit in its usual place, so we had to use an offset bracket the company makes. It works but the cover wont fit.

If/When I get a CAI, this wont be an issue, it'll buy me back the room to move the CC back in front and use the cover if I want.

I bought it from a company called Stack Performance. These guys are all stars. Super nice and knowledgeable. I ended up hanging there for almost 2 hours looking around their shop and at all their custom builds in progress. Great people. I'll be buying more of their products in the future.

thanks

Nikon d3. But don't let that last pic fool you. I actually did something I never and used Photoshop to better the bokeh. I was on 24mm and the out of focus portion looked bad. You can see the shoddy PS job if you look at the edges. I rushed it.

What is up with the new air intake design? Is that a HUGE ass resonator that your oil catch is sitting next to or what??

That is one nice Dodge. I would love one of those. The Marine base near here has an orange one (w/ RT stripes) that has a $35K price on it. Ouch.

That thang got a Hemi innit? Sounds sweet bet it sounds even better in person, with the volume switch controlled by your right foot.

Your next mod or one of your next mods should be suspension. Challengers look bad ass lowered! Are you planning to take any road trips in her in the future?

Looking great Sarlacc!

+1 on suspension...just drop her a bit and put on some nice wheels.

I actually toyed with a black SRT-8 this weekend while I was in the Z and had loots of fun with him...pulls a lot harder than I imagined. I want one..

Suspension is on the want list.

The RT 6spds have self leveling rear shocks, so I have to get a whole new set up.

The question is when I have the money do I go for Eibach pro kit springs and dampers...or do I save a lot more and drop a but load on kw coilovers.

Then, there is a local shop that is mopar specific and the owner has a charger and and challenger SRT and has made a lot of stuff for these cars as well. Its all top notch and the shop is awesome and friendly...thats where my catch can is from.

I got LOADS of things I want.

But for now, I have a v1 on order with a blendmount and invisicord...when those come in i'll stop there for a bit and try and save some cash.
