Jason, if you aim for the stars you may land on the moon.

With the V gas mileage it'll cost more than a plane ticket to drive.

You don't buy a V to care about fuel costs

Well, I ordered the 19's so either I'm gonna find a sick set of forged 19" off a bmw for cheap,
or I'm stickin with OEM.

Yeah, no kidding...
although ahem...I drove 55+ miles each way up to the C&C event yesterday, Adam!
We'll talk offline if you decide to make the drive for one of those...it was SUPER cool.

Hey J would you by chance mind taking some pictures of the rubber hangers that are on your car for the mufflers? I guess I am going to have to start trying to figure out a way to make this exhaust fit on my own. I have not heard anything back yet from Meisterschaft regarding my fitment issues and they are really starting to get annoying.

Do you mean how the hangers are welded onto the muffler? Just give me some details on what you need and I'll lay right on my back for you, camera in hand.
Seriously...FB and DM me or whatever the kids call it and I'll gladly oblige.

Well, considering I only got 130 miles on my last tank where I was manual shifting and downshifting and holding gears...
I was pretty excited to see 140 on the dash with more than a quarter tank and 116 miles to empty on the MID!

did I mention the rear got squirelly on me in the rain going 100MPH?

The rubber hanger that attaches the muffler hangers to the hanger on the body of the car.

I am wondering if maybe the first owner used rubber hangers that were not the stock ones to maybe try and get a better fitment or something. Other than that only other thing I can think of is my car was in an unreported accident and has some type of damage to the rear. I can't see anything visually that would support that though.

Damn I must really baby this thing. My worst tank since I put the exhaust on is 12.8mpg. That means I still got like 150 miles out of the tank. And I thought I have been holding the shit out of gears.

Okay, so mainly the rubber hanger then. Got it.
Um...I'm in Florida where they put 9.99% THC, Ethanol and bath salts in our gas.

A whore has gotta whore...
Jason, I lightened up the shadow from the side so you can see the wheel gap. Honestly, before, the back looked kinda tucked and the front had a finger...I kept telling myself I was happy with it, but a finger gap all around really does look perfect, makes the front look more aggressive.

Yeah, super fun.
Oh and guess what...all this tire talk and guess who's tpms sensor is working fine...turns out either I have a nail, or the weld repair I saw a crack in, is leaking. FML.
Problem is, I must have swapped sides at one point or another because the MID kept saying to check right side...I did and was like, this thing buggin out...turns out it was the driver one.

Love the pictures man. Appreciate you making the gap more obvious too. You make me feel like I am slacking. I have some great camera gear in a bag and I used to take tons of pictures and I haven't shot car pictures in years now.

With those pictures though now I think you have sold me on the coupe springs and spacers. Maybe I will order them tonight.

I have the same taillight issue as well. Just happened like 3 weeks ago with my drivers side taillight. The gap not is super obvious and really pissing me off. I don't want to buy another just to have it break again.

Oh damn so your telling me when I switch sides the car doesn't know the tires got switched on its own? My Lexus knew that.

I agree, but I'm thinking I may do a tiny strip of double sided VHB 3M tape to ensure top stays intact.
The guy bought it for $125 shipped and that's what he's asking of me...he was still under warranty and got another dealership to cover it as the first one was giving him bullshit.

Awesome Jason...I wish you would, man...I recall seeing some excellent pictures of your TSX back in the day. I literally throw the camera with ONE lens into a carry bag in the trunk and decide I'll stop for a quick 10 minute shoot...I find solace in editing and such at home when the baby naps.
About the suspension, I don't think you can go wrong, man. IF it ends up not being enough adjustability for you...you're only out $260 on springs that you can recover the majority of by reselling...
as opposed to:
$1500-2700 for coilovers and lose one of the coolest features of our vehicles in MAG ride and the car riding like a Cadillac, even low.
Fuck that...Betty nailed it...she's like, you love the mag ride...and she's right.
All the coilover guys that say they love their coils would be likely to say that after dropping that kinda coin. Nobody is gonna admit they miss the Caddy ride and Magnetic ride button functionality after spending $2 to 3K and the only way you can find out if that's true is by taking the plunge and becoming a liar too.

Thanks for the pic compliments!

I don't know about the TPMS...all I know is this morning it said 16PSI check out your F RIGHT tire. I did and thought, SHIT...TPMS sensor is bad.
Then, I figure, maybe it's a fluke and it'll reset and be fine after work but NOPE...same warning and 14PSI...so I get out and look at driver and BAM...it's low...then i get out the fleshlight from my phone and check to see and sure enough, it's the weld repaired one. Fackkk...although maybe it's a nail. I'll check tomorrow.

Take a hanger off and head up to the local auto parts stores and ask to see some of the hangers they have. They come in all shapes and sizes. I must have close to a dozen different ones laying around. Different length, thickness, stretch, etc.. Get a few different ones and see what will work.

Yeah I know this I just don't want to take those mufflers off again. They were a bitch to get on in the first place. First thing I am going to try is removing the middle support brace off the car and readjusting the pipes and not having to worry about getting arond that. That along might give me the clearance I need. I still swear though the hangers are welding on wrong. I am about to resort to posting on their Facebook page with pictures and what not if I don't start getting a response.

I wonder if he didn't drill a hole at the end of the crack before welding it to help take some of the stress off of it.
