even being as high as mine is...it did a great job of getting all the loose dry mud out...i wish I had ordered it before doing all that work on it

Since the doors off life is the only life for me I needed a mirror solution...
I tried these bolt ons...but they sucked...at high speeds they would move
and when you park you inevitable bump them and have to have your passenger
adjust it every time.
So I tried out these other brackets that allow you to take the mirrors off your doors and
make them fixed. I think I can even pop the doors on still and leave the mirrors on the jeep.

Yesterday we ran out to the store and decided to take a detour that ended up being a 2 hour excursion down a bumpy road that was bumpy enough to make us
pretty hellbent on finding another way out to the North. Well the google satellite image of the route must have been taken at low tide.
We went for it and almost regretted it...probably about 300 yards of water to the bottom of where the doors normally are...and 100 yards to go we dip into what I image was a crater
made during the Jurassic period by a meteor. I freaked the fuck out at the thought of hydrolocking or getting stuck in chest deep mud with rather large gators
frequenting the area (Near Holiday Park for the locos pron: locals).
Gave it the onions and made it out...
immediately made me want to get 35's...a snorkel...a high lift jack and maybe even some wider fenders to keep some of the mud off of us and the interior.
I'm not going to of course but...
Only real casualty was a missing wire loom on the kc fog up front and this:
already got a set of rough country detachable endlinks on the way...traditional design was just expensive enough to justify spending a few more bucks on those
and they "shouldn't" ever have this issue and can be adjusted to get the sway bar angle back in spec.
we dirty!

Mud tires on a road driven Jeep will drive you up the fucking wall with tire noise and even more shitty driving dynamics (lol). I ditched those so fast and was immediately happy with my choice.
FWIW, My 35" BFG K02's weigh in at ~70lbs. Plus rim, you're close to 100lbs each.
Also, this is why you never go off road alone.
