naw bro...
it sounds fuckin good, seriously.
I guess I could just get a soft top and not worry about it getting stolen
and then sort of let it all work itself out when it does and then get the light bar.
it came with those led headlights and my goodness are they bright...

@oonowindoo if we are speaking actual title and ownership...technically they are all my cars. but the intent of this one was for a fun fuck around weekend car to go do chores in
in style. So far she's driven it a few times to get comfortable with the clutch. I told her hit up a parking lot on her day off and 1st and reverse until she understands the engagement point.
The rest will follow. She was able to downshift and drive to her kid's school the other day. I was white knuckling it.
Thanks, btw...I drove it about 60 miles today down to my Dad's house in a bit of traffic and rain on the way back and I have to say the more time I spend driving it, the more I love the damn
thing.
Quick little updates...fixed a door latch and the ebrake engagement...today I blacked out the headlight bezels with plastidip and threw some yellow vinyl on the front fogs.
Fucking cool little Jepp!
down in Miami parked with pop's 4.0L Sport
mine is closer parked on the street for the perspective but it's still massively bigger than a stock height Cherokee

@97BlackAckCL y'all tagged the wrong fucker!
Yeah, I actually swapped out the screws when I plastidipped the bezel.
Thanks Tyler! I drove it home in the rain yesterday and really enjoyed
how engaging the drive is...gotta be on point...the sound system and
the exhaust. It really is aural pleasure.

Sam, something like that...
not terrifying but definitely no texting and driving which I never do anyway but you know...like watch the fucking road.

it would have to be affordable and a car I've thought was cool and wanted to fuck with firsthand.
Even my plight to maybe get another 3G is dwindling...after having driven so many others the driving
experience wasn't really that exciting to warrant a THIRD time around...especially knowing how man things
I will have to address to make it reliable and perfect.
I'd do another A3 2.0t before that believe it or not. Of all the cars I've sold I probably miss that brown turd the most.
Caddy I kinda miss for obvious reasons but honestly, not even. Black TL I should have held onto.

Well, no brodozer for me. @SamDoe1 @rockstar143
Took a drive own to the dealer with the 'too good to be true' pricing. Took a Sting Gray Sport S JLU for a drive with the wife. Short test drive, but I really liked how the little 2.0T drove, much more go than I was expecting.
Turns out the listed pricing is a 3-year lease price, so the monthly ends up being about the same as a 60-72mo finance (finance pricing was about $4k off sticker). Would've put us about 50% higher/month than where we are on the Flex.
Talked to my neighbor (new car sales mgr there) yesterday & gave a quick 'thanks for helping us out'. He said he's going to look at it today & see if there's anything he can do to get us where we want to be. Worth a shot.

That's why I'm Jaded as fuck...
stuff envelopes for $1 from home...
Sit through a be your own businessman seminar for 3 hours only to find out you're selling knives door to door.
Fuck that shit. Now, when something seems too good to be true, I don't assume it isn't...I look for where the
loophole is.
I live in the grey area between fully depreciated and marginally depreciating because of condition or rarity.
My whole plan is to buy and keep it in that margin to either break even or maybe make a little money after I'm
done going through a car and making it fun and reliable(ish).
I need to sell the hard top and buy a soft top for this thing...
it's too fun riding nekkid and it's too heavy to get off myself and we have to leave it sitting on the grass when we remove it.
Found a pretty local watering hole to fuck around and off-road. Funny enough, the landscape has changed a lot because of
land development but I went mudding here with my buddy with a YJ back in 1999...then I went 4 wheeling once in my 20's here
also...I couldn't believe it's still alive and well and a big enough area for plenty of exploring out here! I need a winch!
and because Miami...
fuckin bunch of boats and shit...people bring them in...tie a strap to the boat and a tree and rip them off the trailer.
can't imagine why insurance rates are so high
