It's one of my fave movies. In fact, I think Netflix / Prime just added it.
You suckas should watch it!

fuckin USPS...paid priority shipping for the coolant fitting...says delivered 2 days ago but nope, nowhere to be seen.
Called ECS and they say they have to wait for a few days to put in a claim, understandable but annoying that my car has been down a week because of it.
Lucky I have 2 others, right?
Called local Cuck dealership and they have it in stock for same price.

Yikes! Leaking oil through both turbos is mentioned as a common issue. Thanks for the heads up man.

I always call the dealership after looking up price online. If I can get it for the same or a little over, sure beats waiting for the part to show up. Especially if I want to get it back on the road ASAP.

But, c'mon. For an Audi?

No one is paying a premium to get parts faster. You can enjoy looking at the car in your driveway, rain pounding away, making it wet, with or without it actually running.

that's happened to me twice.... through Amazon.
Amazon sends a replacement.... what do you know.. first shipment arrives after replacement.
Tried to send back the first time, Amazon wanted me to pay for return. Ha!
If any of you suckers want a $200 HP p/s hose.. lmk. Pay for shipping and 6 pack (craft brew of course)
....

Anyways.. be prepared to receive two.

Right?
I have 2 fun amazon stories...
1) bought b a self contained sub for like $190...she didn't want it, tried to return and they said nope, lithium ion battery...keep it and take refund.
2) i accidentally sent a baby towel to macy's and the ray ban's that belonged in that macy's box to amazon...needless to say, sort facility never found the glasses (wonder why)...after some back and forth about my mistake, they gave me a $100 credit for my troubles.

They made a customer for life.

Nice offer, Joe...I'm assuming for the TL?

Reminds me of a funny story that happened to me. Had to replace the valve body on my Touareg, payed like $140 to ship it across the country and then paid $650 to repair it and then $900 to install it and put new fluid in.....the dealer wanted like $2000 all in but I rather run around trying to get mine repaired thinking I could save some money. Yup learned a lesson that day.

My GF is like, why do you pay for PRIME.
I'm like, girl...I'm so Optimus...

Okay, so...knock on wood but...replaced that broken radiator hose(s) fitting...and got to drive it...firstly...idle is stable and perfect now, no more bucking.
Driving it is smooth now...and I've gone 100 miles and it's 260 to empty which is already an improvement so I'm sure some of the CEL was running inefficiently.
Speaking of which...don't want to speak too soon but cleared fault codes yesterday...so far 2 drives, about 15 miles each and no CEL.

with VAG products you should worry when there is no check engine light, it means your car won't turn on!

But in all seriousness, hoping it stays away!

LOL...that's what i kept saying...at least i didn't have to stress it coming back on!
now I do.

I need to clear that Airbag code and see what's throwing it...it's due for the airbag recall too...
Cleaning up so well though.

after a little put put around town...still no CEL so far, very smooth idle.
Ended up putting spacers on the rear...15MM is perfect...crazy how it changes the driving dynamics...

at being stressed that it will come back more than stressing about having it in the first place...been there, done that

I'm glad she's shaping up though man!

LOL...
it's coming together nicely, I enjoy driving it and getting great gas mileage.
What I should do is sell it and the Wagon and get the SC AWD Full CUCK platform and THEN stage II that bitch.
I'm tempted to Stage II this one though...springs...Stage II...some other OEM Audi 18's...

but that's a slippery slope.
How serious are you about wanting 2 wagons?

you're too much, Andrew.

Okay, well...some things addressed. Got my wheels balanced and although my friend can work some serious wizardry...he couldn't do anything about one rim that was bent and had a nail in the side AND had fix-a-fat. Car rode well still but there was a bump bump bump in your tush you could feel (tire on rear)...so I searched for another rim...found a set on craigslist...guy wanted 2 for $100 with shitty tires...plus tire cost and mount and balance...for what? To have the same look. Scored this set of A4 take offs for about the same cost and I'll try and resell my set to the craigslist guy (he was missing one matching wheel anyway). Only thing is the newer A4 wheels have a bigger hub...I used the lugs to torque down but I need hubcentric rings because I get a pretty good vibration going over 50 now...that and a balance.

Really updated the look of the car without breaking the bank.

Also noted that the 2nd catalytic had something majorly loose in it that made a horrid noise when taking off...
had that taken care of, Florida style
Actually a nice little vroom vroom noise now and it actually did bump the turbo feel a bit. I imagine a stage tune would be fun on this thing.

While wheels were off, took advantage and cleaned brake dust and the like off the wells and calipers. Not bad for an 11 year old car with 186K miles. Florida/Cali car!

Chocolate starfish center caps

Y'all already know I had to clean them up proper!

LOL...I can see that, I guess.
But maybe it's the angle. They modernize the car a LOT, IMO.
Although I will admit, I didn't hate the old wheels.
New tires are a LOT quieter and being wider, they are also only about 3 pounds heavier. Which is awesome.

I think smaller diameter wheels with thinner spokes and a 3-4" drop would be killer

I think it might be the tires throwing you off...they are the same diameter as the stocks!
