yeah, I think you're right...it took some getting used to, that's for sure. The V is great in so many categories but does lack in a few too.
It is heavy and you feel it...it is terrible on gas, we all knew that...but it didn't matter when I had a 10 mile daily commute. Now that it's more like 50...

Anyway...yeah, I used to talk shit about the TL too...then I didn't have it and I missed it and wished I hadn't sold it.
Maybe I'm channeling some of my emotions into my car hobby? I found it kinda refreshing to have a car I didn't care much about that was reasonable...I get joy in that...and piecing it back together to make it drive nicely.

Temp gauge started working again too...
I guess that's the trick with German? Wait it out...everything breaks and eventually fixes itself?
I am telling you that you need to get the sway bar kit and poly front bushings. Yeah it will cost you a bit with the sways and adjustable endlinks but it completely changes the handling of the car in a good way. It removes the roll of the car so much. If I could only have the suspension mods I have done or the power mods I would actually take the suspension mods. It fixes a much bigger issue with the car. It already has power so fixing the handling just makes it so much more complete.

s2k is the most impractical ownership.. but if it gives you the most joy.. well.
You have an Audi beater that can haul things, particularly Z, which you depended on the V for.

It's like sell the s2k and lose your soul
or sell the V and lose beast + practicality
or sell the Audi for more than you put in

I feel you on car payment and gas. I probably put 300 / mo on gas alone.
Shit.. feels good to be a gangster tho..

Same here. Going through $300 a month but it isn't MPG but rather SPM that you must think in.

I think the only reason J is holding onto the V is because little J likes it.

I'mma just put this out there, real talk.

J. You need to sell the S2k. It just doesn't make sense and that's the one that should logically go. Everyone knows it. Just take a deep breath and sell it.

And also, we know thots is not gonna buy it now that he's engaged, soon to be married, and the dadjoke is strong with him... He's in no position for a S2k now.

But bruh, (butt-bruh?) I'll help you out. Because I'm a kind and generous soul... I'll take that s2k, even if it is a terrible color (need to knock a few thousand off for that) and I'll give it a terrible home, full of hate, anger, yelling, and furious masterbation. Because we bruhs.

Just lemme know when to come pick it up. I'll bring the hot pockets.

Furious masturbation is the driving force behind the S2000 ...

Sounds perfect.

lemme know brah. My commute went from 17 miles to 1.2 miles so I'd love to have a vastly thirsty supercharged V8 for my DD.

srs.

Don't sell the S2000, you'd regret that FAR more than selling the V. The V is probably a great car to have for a while but I don't think it's as life changing as the S is.

That's the problem...they are BOTH so life changing.
We'll see...every time I think about selling the S2000 I take it for a drive and am so thoroughly happy to drive it, I think FUCK TO THE NO.
That said, with all my bs gripes about the V and why I'd need to sell it...it is a phenomenal car. Really exceptional in so many regards. So I wouldn't let go of that
easily.

Now, the real question is...why the fuck have I been daily'ing the POS brown car for the last 2 weeks!?!?

Yeah that does not seem like a wise decision. I know it has been reilable so far but who knows. Each has a purpose in Js life.

yeah, again, i'm not in a position of having to make a decision immediately...
each monthly payment on the v just means more money back when I sell it since the depreciation on the wagons is basically done for now.

Probably just really like coming home and seeing the two other cars in the driveway, looking good and enjoying each other's company. Like to see them but don't want to drive them.

J.. you should do a throttle body mod on the V.. see if that's part of the reason you don't like V.

No line needed, everyone in at once!

yes, but everything I'm spending on the Audi I can recover, in theory!
maybe I'll use the fuel savings after 2 months to pay for the throttle body!

Let's hope not!
I'm also changing out the o-ring and timing chain guide thingy or whatever for an extra $35...hoping to keep old girl running decently...
should probably flip it soon...already got the title in the mail.

Flip it, make V payment affordable...
done.
