It has been just over 21 years now since I picked up the car so I cheated and checked the map; it was most likely on the Bundesautobahn 8 between Luxembourg and Stuttgart. We drove pretty much straight through from Luxembourg to our hotel in Munich that night and then dropped the car off at EH Harms the next day; so it is possible the cliff was somewhere between Stuttgart and Munich instead of further west like I remember.

You might be thinking of the A8 that splits around the Eselhöfe with reduced speeds around that hill, but trust me, there are stone retaining walls but no sheer cliffs there. And the Autobahn from Stuttgart to Munich is pretty well flat. You want sheer cliffs, head to Austria or Italy.
One of my favourite roads that I have taken countless times...

Well the 8 starts in Karlsruhe in the west and ends at the border just outside Salzburg in the east. I have taken it countless times. In fact this year again since I am coming up the 7 from Austria to Ulm and then the 8 and 5 to Bruchsal. The 8 that starts at the Luxembourg border comes to an end outside Pirmasens and does not continue to Karlsruhe. You might be thinking that section.

Really nice pics, I really like how the F8 looks, crazy how much more money one is compared to the 488. I also wouldn’t turn away an 812 GTS

For the photography guru's out there, I took all of the those dealership shots with my 50mm. Do recommend any different lenses for those style photos?

@00TL-P3.2 anything special happen during the weekend? With the outside shot of your car n stuff, I was wondering if you attended a car meet or rally.

I was en route to get new tires on the Expedition when I shot that one.

Well below average photog. Just don't work t it enough & am running 20 year old equipment.
Starting small, some randoms around the show:
Super clean 1960 MGA.
Couldn't get the Midget started [needs a new battery] so the Explorer was parked out in the back.
Mexican plated Pajero Evolution. RHD Automatic
R32 Skyline sedan
RHD FD RX7. Crazy wheel & wing setup
Could GTs, there was a 3rd a bit further down
LFA. I've seen this one, or its twin driving around the area before. This one belongs to the guy that owns a Ford, Mazda & Toyota dealership the next town north of us.
MC20, looks bigger in photos, but isn't far off from 911 size.

And the good bits
10 Huayras & 1 Zonda.
Couldn't get to the Chavez once they got the cover off, it was hard enough to get the few of the Zonda, which was the one I really wanted to see.
The purple 'base' Huayra, I was impressed, showed up with road grime on it. Were it me I'd have cleaned it up, but shows that it gets driven.
