uhhh 10 grand? dont do it. the interior isnt even in good condition. save the money and mod your TL. the TL probly handles better too.
or find a better mustang if you really want one. i found a bunch late 90s cobras and '00s GTs in my area for less than 10k on cars.com with less mileage than the one you posted.

Ew mustang. Ive driven an 03ish gt 5speed before and there was nothing smooth about it. Wasnt really that fast like you said but it did sound nice Keep the tl its so much smoother and nicer and classier!

I'd get an F-body with an LS1 and run circles around that stang.
However, in your case, I would keep the TL.

This. Even though the price difference has been maintained pretty strong, there is a reason for that. You should be able to get a 2001 Cobra for around $10K. That was the last year of the non-SC Cobras (IIRC).

It's all in what you want. Totally different driving experience between the Mustang and TL.
I bought my 2004 Mustang at the dealership at a time when we had no used Acuras under $20K (really wanted an MDX). I have to say, that it's like a predator on wheels. It's not the fastest car on Earth, but I've put on 20K trouble free miles in the last 2 years. Finding one that's not beat, though, can be a challenge. Mine had 26K on it when I bought it two years ago.

Keep looking. If it matters there's a 2002 TL-S with 60k miles on it that almost never gets driven, which I could drive at any time I want. But I did just what you're thinking, I went out and got a muscle car (2002 Z28 6MT) and I couldn't be happier. Everyone looks for something different.... just gotta find what you like.
