My goodness that's sexy

Compared to the ~$55k price on the Audi Allroad I keep building, low $40k doesn't seem too bad.

The V60 T6 R-Design is $51,275 loaded with the technology and climate packages. So it's not cheap. But it's a 300hp AWD wagon loaded to the gills.

I read in C&D that Volvo's dumping both the Turbo-5 and Turbo-6 engines and doing only 4-bangers from now on. Their top-of-the-line Turbo-4 will be a supercharged AND turbocharged engine producing about 300hp.

I'll have to drive the Volvo and the Audi and then see what the car show season brings ... If Volvo brings over the diesel or puts the 8-speed in the AWD V60, I may wait until that happens. Unless, of course, the FWD V60 or the Audi blow me away.

Maybe I'm spoiled by the Avants.

That Volvo doesn't look that pretty to me.

And didn't know the All road is that expensive. Our Avant Premium Plus with sports and navigation package was like $43k brand new.

The Premium Plus Allroad with Navigation, Sport Interior, and B&O is about $48k.

Honestly, I think Audi has pulled a fast one. You have a 2010 right?

Basically, they jacked the car up and added an 8-speed auto and are charging $4K more.

Car & Driver thought it made more sense to buy a Q5 because it was almost as roomy and was actually cheaper ($1,500).

Damn. They did jack up the price quite a bit on that. Yes, we have a 2010 model.

Nope, only 6 years left before it is legal though. US import laws are 25yrs or older. Canuckistan's import laws at 15 years.

You might be able to bring it in under the Show and Display rule, but I've heard that it is an absolute pain to go through that process.

The problem, Herr T, is that any invading army will have to deal with the ruthless and bitter winters up here in Canadark. And the need to pour syrup over ANYTHING.

I swear, I think Canadians would pour syrup into their hair gels if they weren't too busy drinking it.

I forgot to add, legit poutine... that's it, I'm moving to Canada and bringing a snow shovel with me.

It's so hard to find poutine with real, fresh cheese curds down here I feel like I'm eating lies.

6 inches from the surface of the sun. But, you never have to shovel sunshine and the AC works nicely!
