I want a 535d Touring dammit! Just built a 328d, M Sport, cold weather, no nav with leather= $51,025. They are nice looking cars but there is no comparison between the 3 & 5 comfort-wise. My wife has a 335x Drive sedan that is nice but it's just a bit small for me. I kinda feel like I'm sitting in the back seat (somewhat behind B pillar).

The 328d (wagon or sedan) is one of many cars on my "next car list."
Hoping for later in the year and get a low mileage lease turn-in

Amen. For that kind of money I would expect a 335 Touring, not a 328

There is usually premium for the diesel line?

Sorry, I wasn't pointing that comment directly at the diesel variant. ~$50k with options for a 328 doesn't sit right with me regardless of the fuel it requires

And here in the States, the diesel is only $1500 more than the regular gas version.

Damn you!

Actually, if you recall, I got the Hyundai used at a Porsche dealer.

I haven't bought a new car since my TL, and given my former business partner's stunt last year, it will be quite a while before I get another new car since my personal financial situation took quite the beating in 2013.

Well, *slaps on wacist hat*...that depends on how you wanna split the consumer demographics...

One ONE hand...the and the all BUY their cars. It's the white people who like leases.

Hyundai, in terms of the Genesis sedan - yes, at least equal to Acura. The interior was well done; especially the leather. The interior features were superior to Acura in several ways (heated and cooled seats, for example). I had a 4.6L V8 in mine and it was RWD, which makes the car just so much more interesting than anything Acura has had in its lineup in quite a while.

Two things I really didn't like about the Genesis (aside from it having no soul, as I've said before) - 1) the steering wheel just wasn't well done. It was skinny and the controls felt like they came out of an Elantra; And 2), the steering was simultaneously too heavy and numb at the same time. I felt like steering the car was too much work often times. At the same time, the feedback was strange.

Obviously, the Equus is head and shoulders above anything Acura offers. That being said, I remain convinced Hyundai needs to get the Genesis Coupe, the Genesis sedan and the Equus into their own brand. They need to not share space with Elantras, etc.

I think leases are a HUGE part of the BMW success story. People "own" these things for 3 years, making a payment they are comfortable with, pay nothing for maintenance, and then turn them back in. It has led to the creation of a significant CPO and extended service sales line (which allows people like me to buy them when they are still in pretty low on miles but with a good extended warranty in place).
