The V70R was a unicorn. Unless you knew, you had no idea.

@mrmako LOL...funny you say that. I actually use the V70R to determine if a person is a car person...if they know, I usually say, oh buddy,
you definitely know your cars because most casual enthusiasts don't. Same people that DO usually tell me they have never seen one in person.

Only V70R I've ever seen, in person, was at the Austin auto show in either 04 or 05.

Not really a fan of super slammed cars, I think low riding is one thing.... But nice pics and it is a wagon.

Not sure I get the quilted hood protector. I do like the yellow, I’d just rather see more of that.
id also prefer more rubber on those rims, but over all very sharp, the Honda front looks a lot better than the Acura nose. It matches fits very well with the bumper and lower lip.
did they have TSX wagons with the manual in the USA? I know the v6 was sedan + auto only…

^ No, auto only in the US. If they offered a manual TSX wagon it would be worth SO MUCH MONEY.
@rockstar143 your wagon is t1ts, pls don't sell this one. Excited to see pics with the new interior!

I put BBK on my cousin's TSX wagon that he bought from @civicdrivr Looks super cool but he definitely doesn't accelerate
fast enough to have needed it.
Thanks Sam...I have no real desire to get rid of my V70R...it's a hoot! Just put new tires on the white wheels. I considered selling them
and doing bronze but the white looks SO good. I did order ceramic pads though instead.

Porsche Panamera Sport Turismo Wagon Dead for New Generation
https://www.caranddriver.com/news/a4...mo-wagon-dead/
Poll at bottom of article:
I guess .7 cu. feet of space behind the seats greater difference in the discontinued model wasn't enough to justify its further production; seats down difference is 47.3 and 49 cu. feet

^ Didn't realize the space difference was negligible. I do like the look of the car. Will be another unicorn soon.

I guess the rear glass has a lot of rake, similar to Macan. Anyways, still a shame if I was to get a panamera Sport Turismo would be the only way for me. So in a way this makes car shopping easier

I like the design of this car and it's likeness in utility to the 530xiT I had and loved. It however in person, is quite huge and a little overwhelming. If I was going to buy one, it'd be the Sport Turismo 4S E hybrid. The way I'd do it:

my main complaint about the design is the needlessly long nose, it seemed like navigating tight parking lots or pulling in the garage with the clutter I have would be a chore.

yeah you have had horrible luck with that. Is it new for the 992 generation? My 991.2 gt3 seems to have pretty normal glass on the doors, but the 3 rear ones appear to be different then what my dad has on his 991.1 Carrera S.

But, I think she also realizes that that's not a long term option, she's currently single so it works. Not so much down the road.

I thought about putting this in the Bring a Trailer thread, however no one is going to Japan to get this but here she is:
1993 BMW 525i with (bear with me) iDingPower modifications. Nothing horrible, about 65K miles (100K km) on the clock. Looks very clean, but no price (go figure). Enjoy.

Lol iDingPower, now I want it even more!
Unfortunately, being right hand drive, I would turn that transmission into metal dust, or constantly money shift. I have absolutely zero coordination in my left hand.
Those seats look mint! Japanese folks don’t seem to have abrasive asses like folks in North America.

as for the next gen 5 series, I thought I saw somewhere the M5 will supposedly have a touring version.
Honestly, I’m still really bummed out about the Alpina B5 G3X fazed out before either my van or TL gave out so I could justify, or at least entertain the idea.
As I mentioned earlier, I had a diesel loaner in Europe this past summer and I really liked it, I thought it was a really pretty car. The G6X generation doesn’t really do it for me.
At this point, it’s probably old man syndrome, current models disappoint, prior models are the ones that got away.

I’ll give you that it has the Mini Cooper surprised look a bit, but I still think it looks better than the long nosed Taycan and especially panamera.
