Kind of like the OK looking girl that is amazing in bed: Do it, do it some more, then do it on the floor because there's more room.

Agree. I do see how they integrated the end of it into the tail light, but that look? Meh. Other cars are doing this type of thing, and the sister car (Buick Regal wagon) does the same thing.

Opel is still GM? I thought I read they sold out (now I have to look it up)

lol

Yup, I did read that.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Opel

Opel Automobile GmbH (German pronunciation: [ˈoːpl̩]), usually shortened to Opel, is a German automobile manufacturer which has been a subsidiary of Stellantis since 16 January 2021. It was owned by the American automaker General Motors from 1929 until 2017 and the PSA Group, a predecessor of Stellantis, from 2017 until 2021. Opel vehicles are sold in the United Kingdom as Vauxhall. Some Opel vehicles were badge-engineered in Australia under the Holden brand until 2020 and in North America and China under the Buick, Saturn, and Cadillac brands.

Heard they can be a pain if there's electrical issues, but they look great & are supposed to be pretty quick.

My boss back in 1998 had one. That thing was sick. I owned a 1999 normal V70. It was an excellent vehicle. And the 2.5 5 cylinder is a good motor. Just had to keep the oil changed frequently (5K).

Why can't BMW figure out wheel gap being even front and rear?
Literally 1 inch in the front would make them look perfect.

Also, household wagon count up to 3 now

if the front is any lower, their service department will deal with endless clueless customers claiming their front bumper is scrapping for no real good reason.
It is an easy fix anyway... just cut a coil or 2.

On a related note: I love this Touring every time i see a video of it... not so much on the regular ones.

That X5M.... A lot of weight. Might need another 50HP to catch the M3 Touring... But my god, ~$100k for the M3 Touring... Ouch.

Can't determine the US pricing (if it ever became available) base on UK pricing. Very different.
I would expect it to be somewhere in the 80ks for the Xdrive Competition, well equipped at low 90s and top out by 100k (if you get the carbon bucket seat and CCB, that most ppl dont get)

Well considering a freaking 4 banger 300hp Integra Type S is 50K+ now.....

It's usually a 1:1 translation from UK to US pricing with the exchange rate and random taxes. So a 50K GBP car will usually be right around 50k USD. A M3T in the US would definitely be in the 90's to low 100's.

Dont know about the X5M but the X5M50i loaner i had really felt small for its size. It actually felt nimble for an SUV...
But i am sure it was just a feel, if you push the car too hard, physics will tell you who the boss is.

UK is still slightly more. about 5% more without considering the exchange rate and stuff. But pretty much 1:1, you are right.

Even the pedestrian spec GLE350 I had for a loaner didn't feel as big as it is.
I imagine an AMG/M handles it's size a lot better.

They also ride like shit. I drove a newer X5M and GLEAMG and they both (especially the BMW) rode like garbage compared to the more pedestrian spec models. If you want a fun, fast SUV I recommend buying a Cayenne which is way better than both of those though it is a little smaller. The BMW and the AMG Benz models are totally pointless. Yes, they're bonkers fast but you don't need/want an SUV for that. You want something to get you and your family around comfortably and they both suck at it. Want fast and fun? Buy the car versions lol.

The GLE was surprising because of how cushy it was. Cruising at what felt like 70, look down 93mph
I'm happy with the 300/310 I've got in the Exploder & 375/470 in the MiniBus, for now.

Oh definitely, these high powered cars these days are insane with how fast they go with minimal effort. I was passing some dumbass on the highway the other day starting at ~70mph and floored it, looked down a split second later and I was at 95.
