Okay...so, you'd consider an M3/M4 with that nose?
Dude...that's some mega-ugly...
I would... but i will wait till i see it in person.
As long as the performance is good, then i am OK... besides with $2 to 300 a month cheaper in payment than RS4/5 or C63, the in me refuse to pay that much more for a competitor with less performance but with a prettier face.

You are pre-drinking or smoking some ciga-weed before you go see it in person?
I mean, that's the power of BMW branding FWIW here. Make an ugly-as-fark car but we have ourselves a car guy who won't rule it out because of it's performance. Frankly, Acura could not buy that sort of oversight from a consumer.
My wife is due to replace her 335xi 6 speed and she's already said it won't be with one of those ugly-as-sin new snouts on BMW models she's interested in.
EDIT: So I just tried building a 3 or 4 with a MT-no dice. M3 comes standard with a 6 speed MT. In black with extended shadow line time, I could tolerate it.

Well Acura didnt have that kind of performance to begin with... so when you are ugly and no personality, then you can't blame the consumers...

That is what i am saying... i dont think it is pretty... but if you wanted a 6mt... in that segment, you kinda dont have a choice, especially i am pretty sure this will be the last Gen that will have stick.
Actually BMW might not even wait until next Gen, they might even get rid of the 6mt next year... it is very possible.

isn't that the definition of a "car guy"
You can't call yourself a car guy if your #1 priority is its looks...
That is like my GF... Oh that car is cute. What is underneath it wont matter, as long as it is cute...

Well, I'd say being a car guy also should equate to having some standard for design.
I'm not razzing you per se but that means, you love the Civic Type R, right? The "extreme looks" would be overlooked because well, it's a pretty darn fast little crotch rocket car? Or is it the weight of that BMW badge that is overwhelming to all things -- even appearances?
That is why we are not as shallow as you. We dont judge the book by its cover
What is inside matters more
Well hang on. It's not like you're in a drought here. You DO have alternatives from the other Germans. Like, what exactly is the price differential per month you're maffing in your head?
I forget who, but there's already a render from some aftermarket company of what that car would look like with a different front bumper. Big improvement.

Let's put it this way....
M3/M4 will be the fastest between C63 and RS4/5
M3 lease should be around 800-900 a month after the initial hype dies down,
C63 and RS5... well 1200-1300 a month...
On top of that... i can get M3 in 6mt...and RWD <--- these are very important to me as we previously discussed. I dont mind AWD, but if given a choice, i would always choose RWD
So i really dont have a lot of options haha
You could also lease a X3M Comp for $800 a month right now with min. drive off... well a few months ago for the MY2020.. not sure about the MY2021 ones.
To get a GLC63, it will be over $1200 a month...
That is why if by June they still want MSRP For it, then M3/M4 will be out too.

Fair enough. Weird that the other brands don't want to compete with BMW lease-wise...though, talking to a non-leaser here, that's like a foreign concept.
BMW heavily subsidize their leases and with a combination of good discount, = somewhat "affordable"
Mercedes has very very shitty programs for their AMG lineup
Audi just has shitty programs for everything they have. <-- which could help to explain why their sales # are also so low compared to the other 2. Why? Who knows... Maybe because of VW or Porsche or they just dont give a shit...
Considering how expensive the non-R sedan 2.0T is, even it made to the US, not a lot of ppl will buy it...
European pricing as a guide:
German price is 48.505,54 € (~$57,800) for the 2.0L TDI. Yes, a diesel. No petrol option.
Switzerland is 62,900 CHF (~$69,280) for the 2.0 TSI (~268 HP)
Absolutely Love this RS6 Avant! Could it really get any better? Well, besides some APR upgrades?
I was looking into the RS6 Avant, just sold my S6. The price tag is pretty steep, looking at an MSRP of around 125k. Here is the kicker, my wife doesn't really like it but still gave me the ok, but I couldn't invest in a car that I only drive 1 or 2 days a week, but I really love it. Once I retire and need a daily driver, I will be back.
