Good point. Saw one this weekend lowered on a nice set of lipped wheels. Couldn't snap a picture in time.

I regularly see both a V60 & V90 around my area.
The 90 is all blacked out on black wheels, quite a large wagon.
IIRC, the 60 has what looks like the blue Polestar badge on the liftgate.

We had both here in the US as well, not sure if they're on the current model list, but still see white a few V60s. V90 are pretty rare around here. Lots of S60/90 though.

I had an older V60 for a few months...loved that thing.
retrofitted headlights...did some springs on it and spacers...
only vehicle I've ever had that got over 30 mpg easily.

FWIW, if no one in Americuh will buy an Euro wagon, for sure they are not buying a Kimchi wagon.

It's shallow but the troof.

The only difference i see between a CUV and a Wagon is the height...

So in other words, Americans all want to sit higher than others but when everyone all got a CUV/SUV, no one is sitting higher anymore

It is some weird logic i just dont understand.

It's also a perception that wagon = minivan because they were both the family haulers of their time. Most of the wagons posted on here wouldn't sell well simply because of the six figure price tags associated with them.

Thinking about renting an E-Class wagon for a German vacation this year. How many suitcases do you think it will hold in the back (without folding down the second row seats? 4 US standard carry-ons? Or should I do 2 carry-ons and 1 large?

I rented a BMW wagon last time I went to Germany and it was a blast.

Did you rent a 3er Touring the last time...? If yes, the E-Class has likely a bit more boot space?

For your baggage, it shoud be ample space.

If you could find one.. M340D Touring.

I have heard of a lot of good things about it but never get to experience it since it is not available here (Both touring and i6 diesel )

The 5 series wagon I had in Germany was AWESOME! We fit three full-size suitcases easily, plus three or so personal bags.

Well, it's from a car rental place, so you actually don't know what you will get until you pick it up. So it's advertised as "Mercedes-Benz E- Klasse T-Model or similar". So I take that to mean I could also be given an Audi A6 wagon or something else in that class. Or I might get a free upgrade to an Audi RS6 Avant.

I'm just concerned about cargo space. If I get really concerned, I might have to go for a "Volkswagen Sharan or similar"

Partial unpack & leave the formerly too large suitcase on the curb, if that's the case.

If they upgrade me to an Audi R8 or Mercedes GT, I'll do the "leave the family at the airport" trick.
