Whats up with RDX owners?

The Evos are good commuting tires for the summer, but the RE11s are pretty good.
I'm partial to the Michelin PSS though

Any idea what a Grand Prix white with all red interior (dash and all) with 17,xxx miles is worth? My dad was floating the idea of selling it since he hasn't driven it in 5 years.
Edit: it's been driven in those 5 years but only around a 1,000 miles

what year?
clearly the condition is gonna be quite excellent with that low of mileage.
(another question, whyyyyy would you sell an S with 17k miles? the value will only get stronger over the years!)

Judging by all red interior I'm guessing it's an AP1. I'd expect maybe 18k for AP1 in white with those miles

I will buy it from you for 18k. I am not kidding

GPW with red is supposedly worth a little more than other colors. Best bet is to check S2KI for current asking prices.

It's an 03, he's the only owner and it still smells brand new. There's only like 220ish of that color combo out there I don't know. My uncle offered him 18 and I laughed but didn't make a better offer.

Sounds like a good excuse to do burnouts
Your Dad will get the right person to come around and make an offer that'll make him go...fk it, let's do it.
I miss mine so much already. It's crazy!
Actually, I'll list locally first...but the 17 x 9 Advan will be up for sale soon. Not trying to make a profit, just get back what I put in with the new center caps. Probably spent 10 hours waxing them and touching up all the chips from them being the previous owner's track wheels. Good enough from a distance, but could use a fresh powdercoat. They roll straight too...and weigh in at 39.5/42 pounds with tires IIRC

You can get a great condition CR for $25k
20k or so is probably doable with some patience if the car is mint

yah 25k is a little too much even with 17k miles but it is still a 12, 13 years old car.
I think 20k or 21k is where it is at, unless someone REALLLLLLLY want a low mileage S2000.

they had a guy on the classifieds page with a 7 or 9k mile CR ( it was one of the two).. and the douchetard was thinking of selling it!
BUT, he was in the $30k+ range in price if I remember correctly.
people were actually trying to convince him NOT to sell it lol

We're golfing Sunday so I'm going to do some negotiating/begging and see where it goes. Realistically I couldn't buy it until the end of the year (school and other crap eating my monies) but he's got a low # 240z he's been working on and is looking to buy an ocean front property so he's going to need some cash soon
I've seen CR's for 30-40k (supercharged for 40) but never in the low 20's but I'll assume y'all look them up more than I do. Is a CR really worth the extra coin?

If you add the cost of an OEM hardtop, the CR Tonneau cover and wing (im not a fan of the wing) along with the suspension differences, they are worth it, especially when most of them are still a fairly new car with lower miles.
some don't have Radios or AC in them either, both of which I need lol

don't get me wrong, I hate my 1 cup holder... but even the AP2 console has the holders poorly placed. (directly where my forearm is when shifting)
conclusion... the S2k is not a good car to have drinks in. lol

At least there's a place though, with the AP1 the other option is in your hands and that's not going to go well at all.

If you track your car, yes it is worth it. The CR addresses some of the S2000's weaknesses (aero) on a road course.

I personally love the styling of AP2 and CR much more than AP1.

Trust me. I wanted a S2K for the longest time ever. I had several chances to pull the trigger.
But it's just too small for me. Made me uncomfy driving for more than an hour. 86 has much, much larger room inside. haha

Every time I drive my friend's BRZ, it reminds me of what a quiet & practical coupe feels like and at times I find myself having buyers remorse. No doubt in my mind it's a much better fit as a daily driver - price considered, the S2000 fit my must have criteria at half the cost of a new FRS.
Different strokes for different folks: Age & mileage aside, I'll take the noisy one with no roof
