Yeah, basically, any color spectrum that is darker than dirt/dust will show it.

I normally don't like silvers but Honda has 'richer' silvers than many others (*cough cough* Toyota!) The palladium silver on our MDX is quite nice.

Hey Ken, why'd you move on from the 2012 CRZ so quickly, if you don't mind me asking?

Two dogs each in a kennel and occasionally taking my mother somewhere (when she is in the country) simply didn't work in the Accord and obviously not in a CR-Z or S2000.

In addition, we're moving and my wife doesn't want to drive a stick in our busier new location. We would have loved to keep the CR-Z but we will only have space for 3 vehicles.

The CR-Z was no slouch though. Supercharged, 6MT nearly as good as the S2K's and 42+ mpg on long trips. It has found a good home though

Supercharged because you have a real set of balls on you and YOU did that? Did I miss something?

Not a slouch at all, I love it and the MPG is incredible. But there is "something" about the S2000 to fall in love with, je ne sais pas quoi...

I'm not too good to look something up...
I agree, I've found that in the S2000 it's a hard line between the two...you either get the "don't ruin ability to drive this thing" and "go low and wide or go home"

I want between moderate and "low" height... I don't plan on "stance" but I hate wheel gap.

looking to tuck a little tire.

also, I scrapped my idea on buying RPF1's.. the 17x8 have reverse concave faces (or convex if you will).. and I cant stand that look on a wheel.

I Want rockstar143's wheels but hes greedy.

You guys are rockstars. Rock it out somehow.

Good luck on the wheel/suspension shopping.

Yes, I personally think 17x8 RPF1 wheel face is fugly as hell too.

luckily 17x9 RPF1s fit with a fender pull and 235s. it'll probably be the look you're going for

Fewer used cars out there in general + discontinued model + high enthusiast interest = $$$$

Plus they're just damn good cars.

Yeah, I told my buddy what I paid for mine and he was like, WTF, that's what I paid for it 10 years ago! I was like...yeah, but good luck finding a pristine one with a good motor now adays!

I'm confident I can continue to baby and keep this car clean and likely turn a profit if I can ever bring myself to sell it. Maybe having a kid or some life changing event that makes me need money badly like a crack habit...

where I bought mine, the dealer regularly brings in low-mid range mileage S2K's and he said over the last 2 years he's actually seen the price go up with cars under 100k and cars with 100+ have held the same value.

I had no problem paying what I did for mine b/c I know it will be in the same/better shape if I ever decide to sell it.. and the way things are looking.. im not gonna lose much money if any

am I being to reserved in saying that I have never liked the idea of modifying a fender?

I just feel like more often then not I see cars with wrinkles and chipping paint just to fit a wheel that is .5" wider.

I love the look of the RPF1 wheel...but I also love wheels that I can bolt on the car the day I get them without having to make the car fit the wheel.

idk... im not in a huge rush but i'll just have to look more into it.

If done properly, there's nothing to worry about with fender rolling. It's just pushing the flat edge of the fender flush with the inside of it.

Yeah Austin!?!? That easy huh!?!? I need to go to the guy that rolled your fenders! And all fenders are built the same!?!? since I'm the one that's "experienced" here and managed to fuk it up.

Rockstar21, I couldn't agree more. I should have been happy with how the TE's sat originally which only required minor roll...short story long, I rolled...put them on, wanted to go more cool flush awesome vtec yo...added spacers, caught the edge on the first trip out, ripped off some previous bondo I was unaware of. Decided to go yolo ham on the fender and roll it more, pulled the line out of the top part of the crease...then REALLY FUXORED it up when I tried to fix that mistake over the next two weeks in various stages of frustration and inebriation.

Now...fender getting fixed and put back to it's original glory and I'll be using the V2 wheels with 15MM spacer like I originally did...or the TE's with NO spacer like I originally did.

I feel like a boob.

I never said it was easy and I never said I rolled my fenders.

You did them, and you did them properly. Hence, no problems.

And to he honest, it sounds like the previous damage to the fender caused you the trouble it did. Not necessarily all on you for rolling it.

Touche'...
kinda, although my previous experience should have told me to stop in my tracks and glue the pulled chip back in place and remove the spacers instead of what I actually did. Such a Noob I can be.

It will be my new daily driver for my 2 mile commute to work.

I got mine with 121K...the chain drive made me less worried. Tensioner isn't making noise or anything and all fluids had been done.

Crazy...is AP1 just a preference? Or is it due to budget constraint?
