Ha! I was gonna post that.

LBP, GPW, and BB with red interior are the highest priced base model colours.

CR pricing is not base model pricing. But *if* you found a GPW CR in good shape/clean title with low miles....it can get crazy. Well into the $40k's.

BTW, I bought my CR lip back in 09. Before it was cool.

I do everything before its cool.

I burned my own lip on some pizza. Because I tried to eat it before it was cool.

When I had a mullet and tight/short pants in highschool, the kids would beat me merciless. Look who's laughing now!!!

What were we talking about?

Dreaming? You're close to delusional.

Kidding man, it's possible just keep your eyes open and look in areas where convertibles/sports cars are not that popular.

I paid $15500 for my mint interior 9/10 exterior 2004 AP2 SSM/Black with 38k...but that was last year.

(I seriously still have no idea how I pulled that off, I haven't seen anything remotely close since then)

Damn CA GPW prices.

I paid $12,500 with 115k. Gotta say though, I picked one helluva car - been super reliable in the last 2 years and it currently sits at 155k.

Still love walking up to this fine ass

I'm ok with OEM-ish.

Is it a stick on or did you have to drill?

I'm planning on getting that spoiler too. J posted a link a while back

I paid $15k for my 2005 with 94k miles. Two-owner, clean Carfax, bought and maintained at the same dealership it was bought new at.

I finally figured out why my car is worth so much - limited edition driverside taillight, provides extra VTEC.

At least I know stogie will never touch my car

Driven a '97 - they're low and slow compared to boosted S2000

You must have been sleeping with whomever sold it to you. Or it was your Dad. I guess those statements don't have to be exclusive though?

You can just do the 3M molding tape and be good.

I've debated picking one up for my stock trunklid.

shoot, i did 2 strips of double sided tape, but the lower one the red backing paper snapped off a quarter way through...left it that way...been over 8 months now...
I tried the other day to pull the lip off to redo the tape for peace of mind and I couldn't...I was lifting the car up and didn't want to bend the trunk alignment.

That VHB don't play.

Neither. Dude I bought it from was in a hurry to buy something with a big V8 like a Camaro or Corvette or whatever that he had locked down and needed the cash to move on. Ran into him a few months later at Trader Joes and he eventually passed on that car and bought an AP1 S2k instead, same color and everything.

Do you have to swap out the trunk springs for these things or is that optional?

If I get the OE spoiler (strongly debating it but 3x the price is a tough sell), I'll just get the dealer to install so I don't have to buy that damn tool or kill myself with a flying spring.

I remember that one bro, just asking what he has. I'm likely going to get that one.

You don't need to do the trunk springs for just the AP1 rear lip spoiler. It's a crazy difference in weight between the CR wing and the stock trunk. I can tell you you definitely don't want the CR springs on the stock trunk (I've done it) that thing fucking flies up.

The AP2 wing I'm not sure if it comes with springs or not.

Looks like the AP2 wing comes with trunk springs but the AP1 doesn't.

Yeah, certain things are worth the money, but there's no way I'm paying Honda $350 for that little spoiler. This is one of the knock off things for sure.

I actually had an OEM one laying around for awhile but sold it.

Yeah, I feel the same way about the CR spoiler. Some angles I love it, some angles I hate it - actually sold my trunk/wing for a bit but bought it back.

The little OEM lip spoiler I think looks pretty good all around - what angle you dislike?

I had a 1600mm Voltex GT type 2 wing with 285mm stands. Done sold that.

Want a CR wing now. Something that works, doesn't place me in street modified, and doesn't look out of place for daily use.

But...I'm done spending money for a little bit (besides the budget I already have set aside for ITR tires/radiator/tune/alignment).

That's a Dr Bob question.

I think they're different beasts. I've never driven a NSX, but always thought of them as a well sorted go-fast car that handles well. Whereas the s2k is an exceptionally well handling car that goes quickly.

But Dr Bob traded his s2k for the NSX and then talked about getting the s2k back if that tells you something. (It does to me)

NeuronBob would probably have the best input on this, but I'd say the S2000 is a different kind of beast .. not one to really be compared with an NSX

With that being said, I would love to drive an NSX one day to experience it.

EDIT: cu2wagon beat me to it.

Friggin' jerk
