battery crapped out on my S this morning...took my portable jumper with me to work. TRT40 gets you forty bucks off 100 at advance auto...$82 for a new battery after core rebate...don't mind if I do.

Also would like to use phone for navi screen since that's unpossible in the S without cutting the dash up.

Well, unless you have very short cups, skinny cups, or an automatic s2000, I don't see how anyone could use the cup holders for their intended purpose.

I don't know yet, but I have a theory.

Nothing hit my window on the freeway this morning and I don't think anybody struck it.

I think all the major chassis flex from my driveway did it.

Twice a day 5 times a week could do a number on a window .. But it could also have been improper installation?

Not sure to be honest

Thanks broham. Pursuing a warranty route right now but if that doesn't work, I'm leaving it as is.

Very carefully.

Also mostly only use it for longer freeway drives. Or cans...of whatever.

Just curious- Do you ever blow warm air on to the windshield? Like on the defrost setting? If you had a preexisting rock chip, and if you were blowing hot air on the windshield while it is cool outside, it could happen. The temperature differential of being cold/cool outside, vs warm/hot inside, can cause it to happen.

Yup - I looked at it .. released a huge sigh and let it go. Not really worth getting upset about.

No rock chips, nothing has hit my window since the windshield was replaced and I haven't used my defroster in forever.

I think you're on the right track though, I think heat was what ultimately cracked my window because it was HOT today.

I try to use the defroster setting as little as possible. I've actually seen a windshield crack like that, right in front of me. I used to always use my defroster, however, back in late 2011, we bought Wifey's sonata and I took it to this guy for 3M film- he was the one who told me about not using the defrost setting. He was like "my F250 has 225000 km on it, and I'm still on the original windshield and I'm convinced not using the defroster is the reason why!"

Seemed plausible. So i ran with it and never looked back.

Damn Tyler, that sucks to see.

Time for air ride to get in and out of that driveway without too much flex, hehe.

Looks like a gem!

Edit: And comes with good mods already.

Coasted through a couple lights next to an LBP AP2 last night. He was lowered with an exhaust and I was drooling. My passenger didn't understand what was so special about a "Honda" though. Go figure. Lol

Hahaha. Seriously. My ex loved cars as much as I did and some of the best memories I have of us were based on owning the S2000. We would drive across town for food just for the sake of driving.
