I was going through my garage and noticed that I had a 17mm stock 3G TL 5AT swaybar sitting in the corner. Score . It'll be a little bit better than the stock one the Accord comes with.

Intake is coming on the 7th According to UPS ...

The modding bug has already hit me

Dude, you're gonna love the TL sway. I still think it's the single most effective mod I did to my 6mt. What kind of intake did you get?

I got the KNN Typhoon Intake in the Marketplace last week.

When time / $ permits, I am going to buy that engine torque damper and J-pipe .. I think I'll be a pretty happy camper after that haha.

I don't think I am going to go with coilovers / aftermarket springs, I will leave this thing a 4x4 for the added sleeper effect.

What's next on your list

So, I'm about to buy the sway bar this week from Acura, they quoted me 60 for the 17mm. I think you have this one Todd right? What are the required parts to make it fit? Bushings etc...(I apologize if this has been covered before) Any thoughts on the beefier 20?

If you're buying a swaybar, I'd go with the TL-S one as well ..

I'm installing my 17mm because it was free.

I got the CAI yesterday .. just too lazy to install it. Worked 65 hours last week

Hey Mark... nice, you're gonna love it. I would stick with the 17mm if you're not planning on changing out the front sway bar as well. The 20mm can give you too much understeer if you leave the front stock. There's been a lot of debate over how much that is true, but personally I'm 100% happy with the 17mm on mine and feel the car handles the corners very well. It reduced the body roll A LOT.

You'll change your mind about the springs, I promise you. I thought the same way, but I'm so happy I dropped it, especially after adding wheels.

Next on my list? Yikes, nothing at the moment. I'm pretty modded out on this car. I just hit 90,000 miles, so I have the 105,000 mile tune up next year, so that's my next mod lol. I might get some Koni yellows in the future, but for now the HFP shocks are holding up fine. And eventually I'll need to have another exhaust bent up because the one I have on was chopped up and welded back together by Midas, so it's not really flowing very well. I'll definitely spend the $$$ to have it done right next time.

I took the time after work to install my KN Typhoon intake and the install only took about 45 minutes .. I can feel the mod bud commencing.

What are your thoughts on the OBX Catback? It's cheap pricetag is tempting .. but I am a fan of getting a nice exhaust system (I had a Comptech w/ Aero resonator on my 3G and that exhaust system was incredible).

I wouldn't get the OBX. The price tag is enticing but from what Sonick said on V 6 P it hasn't really held up that great and gets louder over time. Plus I've read some people had to have an exhaust shop heat and bend the hangers to make it sit evenly. Personally I'd spend a little more for a better quality exhaust and not have to worry about it, or go with a custom bent system out of stainless.

Good call, I was juggling around the idea of getting a Tsudo catback exhaust, hacking off the mufflers and putting on the stock Accord mufflers for the added sleeper effect.

I really don't like the look of them, too ricey for my tastes.

You would kind of defeat the purpose of the performance gain from the Tsudo exhaust if you put the stock mufflers on in place of their mufflers. The stock mufflers have an inlet size of 1.75", so it would choke the exhaust flow up since the Tsudo is 2.5" piping. I agree with your thoughts on how the Tsudo mufflers look though. They are basically copies of the GReddy cans, which are also huge. Not a fan of that look, although some love it. The Tsudo system also has issues lining up with an aftermarket J-pipe, so you'd have to have that fixed too which would cost extra.

You should just get a custom bent exhaust instead of wasting money on the cheaper systems. Just get some mild looking mufflers and have some custom piping done and save yourself the hassle of hacking up a cheap exhaust just to lose any gain in horsepower.

Ordered some CorSport Aluminum shifter cable bushings for the ol' Accord.

Looking at a catback / J-pipe in the meantime

The wheels are perfect, the lip is perfect, everything is perfect.

Lets keep the perfection rolling - is it a 6MT?

Love the color. Not a fan of the wheels. I think its because the fitment isnt aggressive enough.

Aggressive enough for me! Rear could use a spacer though, front is flush, not the fake flush fad where it sticks out

Its rubbing like crazy too

Thats the problem Ive been noticing with alot of the newer cars. You can run the same offsets front and back but the rear will still be sunken in.

I like the roof spoiler. You should get the lip spoiler for the trunk.

Ive been driving an 08 coupe 6MT the past few days and its fun. Not as fast as my car, but fun nonetheless. I really like the 7th gen 6MT sedan. I think thats my next car if I need another daily and the CL cant handle it.

If the 8th gen sedan came in a 6MT, it would no doubt be my next car after my 6MT Accord.

Small update, I called dibs on a RV6 J-pipe / might get Sonnick's OBX Catback for dirt cheap.

I'll keep you guys updated!

I am in the market for a 06-07 Accord for the fiancee. Would love to find a white EX-L V6. All I would need then is the Hybrid tails and maybe sneak in a drop when she's not home...

Quick question: I've got an 03 4-cylinder, and my mom took it to a friend's shop to get it emissions tested (has to be done once every 2 years here in ON). Mechanic decided to put in new spark plugs, plus some other stuff without telling us, then slapping us with the bill. He put in NGK Platinums, replacements should be Iridiums. Should I switch them out as soon as possible, or will I be fine with these? They last something like 50K, Iridiums 100K.
