Are you checking to determine you're low on oil? Or going by the computer?

He has no choice but to go by the computer. There is no dip stick.

But yes its normal to have to add oil. Unless you change the oil more frequently than the 15k intervals.

My M3 seems to really like to eat oil. I had my 1200 mile service which had the oil changed and topped off. I'm now at 2000 miles and it the oil level already went down 1 notch. At this rate, I'll probably have to add a quart at 3-4k miles

i was .... i have never had to do that before. I added a quart and a half while i had my car. 10K miles. I could actually feel the difference. The car would feel less smooth...i would check the oil...add a little oil and presto...it would feel smooth again. Wierd.

that had to be all in your head.

Looking good Scrib. Just add some 19's and you're set. There has to be someone on here you can score some take-offs from.

You don't have snow!?

...oh, nice car BTW!
Love that color. Now get a drop, some wheels and tint it and you're golden.

^ crazy weather here in Chicagoland/NW Indina... everything practically melted away. It was 50 degrees on Saturday!

Scrib- Awesome pics! How do those back up sensors work? Just an alert/sound or something? Or do you have a backup camera as well?

Alert and an overhead picture of the car with a 3 bar system (green, yellow, red) to show how close you are. Like so...

Nice, 3 series coupes are some what rare up here, I was driving next to one the other day for about 15 minutes, I can't get over how sleek the coupes are. They really stand out from their sedan counterparts.

It was 61 here on Saturday with rain and thunder. The 6 inches we had plus an inch or two of ice basically sublimed.

So I've had a chance to drive the car in shit conditions and today, it was 45 and dry. And it was fun!

Since I don't have NAVI, I get alerted via an audio tone. As the sensors "encounter" something, it begins to beep, the beep gets more frequent as the object gets closer and within 12 inches, the tone in constant.

Just a note, the sensors see down just fine, but aren't too good for seeing objects above the bumper.

Nice car Scrib. If it weren't for the cursed seatbelt helpers I'd be completely in love with my 335i! Never thought such a nifty feature would end up making me angry on a daily basis..

The dang thing just intermittently grabs the seatbelt. It has me reaching up and hanging there like an ass hat every other time. It's slightly annoying at 10k miles and by 35k miles I just want to rip it out and flog anyone of german descent that might be in the area with it.

Keep in mind that my e92 was built in early September 06'...they probably worked out the kinks with later revisions. I have yet to raise hell at the dealer about it. Just don't have the time anymore.

I almost had to do a special dance each time just to get the seat belt to rest properly into that arm.

If i just flung the belt back after taking it off then he would never catch the next time around. I had a love/hate relationship with it.

My belt helpers did the same thing, 75% of the time they missed the belt or would go back and get caught on the little chrome piece behind the seat. I finally got sick of it and the dealer replaced the mechanism; it's got a piece of metal inside it now instead of plastic and works much better (still not 100% though, like 95%).

No issues here yet. The beeping is REALLY annoying though. I always drive with my seatbelt on, but I had a few times in my parking garage when I drove a little bit without the belt, I wanted to scream

Hey everyone a few quick questions.
Any problems I should look out for between the 06 330i and the 07 328i?
Is there a difference besides power between the two?
Just asking since I remember when I bought my e46 I remember the 01 was the facelift but had overboosted steering and such.
So any help guys?
