Hrm, I thought even the e90s had the celis LEDs. Good to know.

The OEM spoiler (above) is really nice on the sedan, not so much on the coupe. Can't go wrong with an M3 rep spoiler though.

Jesal did you get HIDs?
The 3 with the carbonfiber weave (black and white one) looks hot. Would look great on a white m3 with the matching roof.

Now they are replacing the injectors in the 335. POS. Working on the deal for the M3 sedan. The dealer seems to think this car is made of gold and forgets it will depreciate like a rock. The first offer on my 08 335 $51k sticker 6000 mi was $34k. I laughed in their face.(on the phone LOL.) I eventually got them to $37.5. on the trade but they only wanted to give me $2500 off on a crapped up sticker. The original sticker was $68445 plus about $1500 in wheel warranty, alarm and other crap. I told them I didn't want the crap and i offered $65 for the car, alarm and mats. That is about $1900 over invoice. They balked and said they would call me back tomorrow. They told me they couldn't "load up in my trade" because new 335's could be had at .9%. I called them liars because that is not available any more. I left my offer and told them they were crazy not to take it as the 09's are already out. we'll see what tomorrow brings.

Yea $38k sounds fair for trade in, plus add in tax credit.

Are there any special financing for the M3? If not then try finding a slightly used one so you dont have to pay that lame gas guzzler tax.

Actually if you want a modded E92 M3 with low miles i know of one for sale. Im sure he would sell for around 60k.

Jesal and I talked about this. Both of us spent a considerable amount of money on our 335is that we could have bought brand new M3s. However, the 335i can be easily moded to keep up with the M3, don't have to pay gas guzzler tax like you do for the M3, the 335i has more low end torque than the M3 (and throughout the powerband really) and more importantly, we both would have modded the M3 so we'd be spending even more money

I appreciate the offer Jesal. They are offering 2.9% on M sedans and verts. I want to buy a new car because I will also be selling my TL and will be going down to 2 cars. We will have the M and my wife's Tahoe. My dealer will only give loaners to customers who bought their cars there. the dealer is 40-50 miles from me and I don't need any hassles with loaners. I was keeping my TL as a DD but the 335 was costing too much to just sit there. I figure I will get the M sedan and drive it and enjoy it. I only have a 2 car garage therefore the TL sits outside all the time. I am also tired of washing 3 cars.

I liked the way my 335 drove but these problems kind of got me gunshy about the turbo engine. I have always wanted an M. I figured if I am just going to have one car, a M3 sedan would be perfect. Also I could only imagine how much of pricks the dealer would be if they thought I modded my 335.

Well the M3 is fairly new as well so reliability is a question too.

But i totally understand what you going through. I had issues with my suspension on the 335i (aftermarket) and no one could fix it. So i got sick of it and it made me not want the car anymore. But at least your issue can be fixed under warranty.

Could dump the TL and 335i for the M3 but just remember the M3 is a gas hog.

The gas issue doesn't really matter too much. Another 50 to 100 bones a month for gas is nothing. I wonder what my ins. is gonna be like though. I'm not so worried about reliability if they will provide me with loaners. i just keep reading about people on their third HPFP on the 335's. I just trust a NA engine more.

The one i'm working on is AW over black. Just about every option. Premium, tech, 19's
6 speed man. , ipod, satellite, sunshade. I really don't know what options this one DOESN'T have. If I were to order one, this would prolly be it. I think BMW's just look good in white. I just can't get into the fox red interior.

They have a silverstone/ fox red with MDCT. I think silverstone looks too blue, plus I'm really scared of the reliability of MDCT.

Damn I want a 335i Coupe (used) in a few years, hopefully in 2-3 years but the reliability scares me. I browse e90post and it seems like fuel pumps are a big problem amongst other shit. Also a lot of 335i owners chip the car which puts even more stress on the car. I wouldn't want to see the repair bills on a twin turbo BMW.

It seems if I really want one, then I'm going to have to do a lot of research and be very particular before I get one. (No mods ever, driven by someone over 30, meticulous maintenance records, and not a first year model.)

The other car I want really bad is the G37 coupe. It seems more reliable (VQ is old and trusty + NA engine) and it's just as sexy to me. The interior is better to boot IMO. I also think that they can be had for cheaper but then again G coupes have solid resale value...

Anyways sorry for the rant. I'm just in love with the 335i Coupe. to those of you that have worked hard enough to have one.

^^^^I wanted a 335i too but found that the G37 fit all of my needs and for several thousand dollars less (plus the interior is just miles better than the BMW). The 335i is a sexy machine but I LOVE my G so there you go!

If Jesal is talking about the M3 I think he is talking about, it would fit what you're looking for.
