Yea the feel of it is amazing as well. Heres a closer pic that someone took on the m3 forum

Seriously, i just love how BMW thinks of these things!

My 08 already has a 0.9% rate. selling would be the smart thing to do!

Just 09 model has the facelift and new Idrive.

This truly brings a tear to my eye... 8 years ago we were complaining about our failing transmissions - now look at us...

How many folks on here have an e9x M3 now?

I can count 4 now... me, achenator, cm3go, cusdaddy... nokiaman next.... 5?

I purchased mine on 8/30 and they started the stooopid M school on 9/1... I'm still waiting for my registration to come in so I can MAYBE see if they'll let me participate...

Hmmm... I'm wondering how stupid I would be if I sold my car to buy a '09 with new iDrive with the 0.9% APR...

I really want the new iDrive....

^ That would be pretty stupid and you be lucky if the dealer gave you $60k for your M3.

That would be almost paying $10k for an Idrive.

Plus the 09 M3 isnt 0.9% yet...

I took my car in today to get a fuse, and rear brake bulb replaced, and while I was there I took out a new 6 speed M3 for a test drive.. Damn that car is so much fun. I loves the interior.. especially the steering wheel over my 335i.. Beautiful car and fun to drive.

IM pretty sure at some point I am going to do the steering wheel swap. While I was on the test drive we got to talking about the sound of the exhaust. He told me there is a plug behind the cover for the Left rear brake bulb. And by unplugging that some how changes the not of the exhaust. It won't throw any codes if unplugged. He gave the the usual "im not telling you about this" kind of deal. I guess it goes to a sensor int he muffler that acts some what like a silencer. SO I took the 3 min it takes to disconnect it and im almost certain that the exhaust note is completely different.
