Nothing like the feel of a nicely weighted thick steering wheel.

Have to wait till the DCT M3 comes out.
The paddle one is the same thickness, just perforated.

Crazy Sellout I didn't know you also knew Aj Gillet. Was looking at the photos you first posted with your car with the DPE rims. Oh yeah did you know that he has an NSX?

My car is in the shop today and i have a 328xi loaner....this car is still pretty powerful. I shouldla saved myself 10K
I had a 328 4 door last time and even that was pretty nice.
If anyone is on the fence for one of these I highly recommend it. Still plenty of grunt. i am surprised. I thought they would feel like slugs.

the difference is about 5 or 6k last I checked, but yeah they're no slouch. still, you can't throw procede/turbo tuner into a 328...

one thing though, if you get the 328, get the manual gearbox. the auto is horrendous.

i think my gf and i should head out to a bmw dealership and test drive some 3 series and 1 series. what is a bmw dealership around chicagoland that aren't dicks? i went with a friend once who lives in aurora and we went to bill jacobs bmw in naperville and they were dicks! they wouldn't let us test drive a 330i a few years ago.

Eww why would they put a front lip kit it looks horrible. The 335i looks so sexy stock so why would anyone mess with it?

I'm a big no on those hoods too. A bulge on the M3 hood I can live with, but scoops, intakes, vents, windmills...bleh.

The OEM hood looks perfectly fine to me, that's why I'm having trouble with hood bulges on the M3 but even more on the IS-F.

1)One of my keyfobs doesn't work

2)a mystery dash rattle that is there all the time except the day I am going to go to the dealer. SO fuckin annoying.

3) TPMS sensor in the car is malfunctioning. The main one that the wheels send there signal to.

The comfort access keyfob....is turning into a complicated mess. One of them used to work intermittently and then stopped working. Took it in...said they had to order a new one...that came in so today was the appointment to swap em. Apparently, it is not that easy. According to my SA both are fobs are "no. 1". So the car wont except both. And the BMW won't let them reassign the new one as no.2 without "decomissioning" old no.2. Which we don't have because I have two no. 1's.
So, now my car is their overnight. A little on the annoying side..and funny at the same time.

I am not quite sure how to feel at this point. I can't say I am ready to bitch yet. But, it is annoying. I have had little annoying shit on my other cars but they didn't cost 50k.

On the bright side i checked out the new M3. I am in love now that I found out you can order a steel roof with a sunroof. That kinda makes the car extra hot now.
Also checked out the new Jaguar XF...me likey a lot. Annd the XK....pretty sure I want that as my next car. The interior is absolutely gorgeous.

That's weird on the key fob thing. You're right, it's sort of funny but not.

You're not the first guy I've heard of with a TPMS problem.

Speaking of dealerships, I was at an MB dealership yesterday, the C63's are stupid good deals, I had no idea. Uhg, temptations.

apparently NASA is involved in reprogramming my keychain. This is night no. 2 that the car will be at the dealership.
On a side note, the 328 i have right now is manaco blue w/ the cream interior. It's quite nice. I also realized i like the dash a lot better w/o the nav pod. But the base stereo is pretty horrid.

The electronics in a BMW make the space shuttle look like its using abacus' for computers.

My front suspension is all out of wack. Something feels "loose" and i cant figure it out. I hear a small thumping sound.

Debating if i want to take it to the dealer for it.

I didnt ask them, plus they super busy these days and i hate bugging them over stuff like this.

Who knows if its my coilovers. I really cant pin point the sound and its not loud enough to find it. I can more FEEL it than hear it.
