So we all have quads now? Har. Of course mine have been in my basement for 9 months. They sound great down there, no drone at all.

I say "yay" if the vents are functional. The design is understated enough and let's face it most turbo motors need all the help they can get with heat dissipation. Lighter than stock wouldn't hurt either...

Nay. It would be a "maybe...?" if it lost the side vents.

Only the front vent is functional. I guess the sides could dissipate heat, but not sure how much.

Well...

Today I drove the c300 4 matic and it was eh, although I love the front end on the c sport.

I then drove a 335xi coupe auto and it was great! very planted in hard turns and fast, but i need a 4 door so I will drive that tomorrow.........

I thought about doing the cdv thing but if anything goes wrong with the clutch i'm paranoid i'll be stuck with the bill if they find the modified cdv.

It actually extends the life of the clutch. Its a low cost mod that makes a big difference. You could always put the old one back in before service.

I havent followed the thread, but I witnessed a bone stock 335Xi coupe run a 12.9 @ 107mph at the track yesterday. It was driven by a girl and she was aiming for 12.7's.

Wish I had a ton more money cuz that would be a helluva daily driver.

Nice.
A friend of mine has BMW roundels with carbon fiber instead of the blue. Looks black from more than a couple feet away, and it would look pretty good with that black 335 logo
