Do some research on the battery replacement. They need to be "reprogrammed" in the e9x's. If you search e90post there is a thread about a guy who replaced his without reprogramming and it exploded in his trunk.

The computer just needs to be reset. And this shop is made up up of former mercedes and BMW master techs. Not worried.

Brother in-laws wife wants a convertible... Thinking of this. Insanely low miles for a 2011. Anyone know if it's a good price? Doesn't appear to be certified.

I don't know if that's a "good price" for your area or not, but as a matter of perspective - I just picked up the '09 version of that same car. The one you linked has a couple of additional options mine doesn't (heated steering wheel, Harmon/Kardon), but it's pretty close otherwise. My car, with 37k miles, as a CPO was $38k. The original sticker on the car was $61k. So, assuming a similar MSRP, it looks like she'd be getting an almost new car for $10k off sticker. BTW, I don't know why they wouldn't CPO that car. With only 355 miles, I would think it would be a no-brainer.

It "appears" to be a decent deal. I just wonder how it's got such low miles on it, being a year old. Sitting around, never titled/driven?

They wont sometimes certify cars like that since the price would get jacked up another 3-4k. Im sure they know most others would really buy new at that point.

Its being sold as a used car right? Cant be a demo then it would be sold as new if it was I think.

Agreed, with only 355 miles, the original warranty is pretty much new so selling its at CPO would make no sense.

Also, Perillo is a bunch of douche bags, so you may have issues negotiating with them.
