^ Beautiful.

Mine should be here in a couple weeks or so. You got the 3.2? What packages, if any, did you get?

question to the Audi faithful:

Cabin air filter change for '07 Audi A6: I love to do these myself, but I didn't have the tool to unscrew the box. What type of tool does it take. it looks like a pentagon shaped screw head. I want to buy it at the home depo!

My Audi A4 was so good to me.

Its modded with an upgraded turbo(i installed a k04) and still trucking along 70k+ miles without any issues. At least thats what the guy who bought it from me said.

ah memories.

Are those S4 door blades?

I wish they made LED tails for the B7 and base them off the S6 Avant.

Yep S4 blades.

Blows my mind how pricey the new A4 have gotten though. Mine in 04 was around $31k loaded (33k sticker) for a 1.8t.

Now you can get a 2.0t for around 40k! Thats nuts.

Are you referring to the B7 or B8 pricing?

Both but more so the B8 pricing.

I thought the B7 increase was nuts too since the interior stayed almost the same as the B6!

Hmmm, I haven't reached that point yet, (we have different cars anyways) but a quick search over at Audizine lead me to this...

Older model, but I bet it is similar...

I thought B7 was a lot too.

I'm glad I picked mine up used, payed $24,360, its a 2008, has everything I wanted minus the navi, but overall great deal. 20,000 miles too.

Thanks for the link, but I think I'm going to have to use either a screw driver, or wrench or something to try and pry my screws? out.

I put my VMR V710s on my S4 on Thursday.

Hoping to get at least half a full Zaino session in tomorrow. Probably means just claying and a Z2 ... Have to wait for another weekend to do the Z2-Z6-Z5-Z6-Z2 combo.

Yea i got super lucky with those. Some no-name member offered a group buy on these. So i took a risk and joined. Only a handful got them.

Not sure if anyone was able to get them after that GB was over. Fit and finish of them were pretty damn good too.

Yeah I know ... It's spring and the weather is a big pile of suck right now.

It's supposed to be nice later in the week. I got the hypersilver finish.

The increase to the B7 wasn't that bad. We were OTD for the wife's 2.0T A4 for not much more then you were on your B6. The increase for the B8 though is obscene...

Naw, went with the 1.8t when i was shopping.

Everyone kept telling me how easy it was to make it fast.

That wasnt the case, it was easy to make it faster... but not FAST.

2.0t i hear is making some great numbers though.

For know I'll keep it to bolt ons... when it is out of warranty, I'll look at upgrading the turbo.

BTW, my wheels will be powder coated tomorrow. Should be done by Saturday!

Nice, i like it. would the wheel caps off the titanium wheels fit on the s-line wheels? if so, and if the caps are darker on the titanium wheels, swap the caps.

Why is the rear of your car sitting so much lower than front? It's understandeable that the rear wheel arch is lower than the front, but it doesn't look very stock...

Anywho, my brother's car...he doesn't like it so much though, keeps asking me if I can get rid of it for him or if he can trade with me for my GTI, but I declined..If his car was stick it would be another story, but naaaaah...

His car: S-Line Package, Titanium Package, Premium, Nav, Xenon's, just about every option you can put on the 2008 A4 at the time.

Yes, they fit. Good point, I'll ask if they can paint the cap to match... If not I could try finding those caps.

When I took that picture, I had 2 12'' JL W3's in a huge, gigantic box. Its not hooked up, was just storing it there. Good eye,

I wanted a titanium, but this car has everything I wanted (except navigation and titanium package) I figured I could mod it to my liking. Plus I've been looking for a car for almost a year, cause I'm picky.

Nice Audi's everyone. My friends girlfriend just got an 06 A4 and she loves it. Since then I have been looking at some 03-05 3.0 A4's on the internet. Any issues to watch out for on those?

Not that I've heard of ... The 3.0s seem to be fairly bulletproof.

I've been tossing around the idea of an S4 for a little bit now. I don't really know much about Audi's, but from what I heard the 05' S4 with the 4.2L V8 is fairly reliable, it was the older models with the TT engines that experienced most of the problems and gave the company a bad rep. Anyways, I found this one for sale locally:

http://www.autotrader.com/fyc/vdp.jsp?ct=u&car_id=260782770&dealer_id=56898132&c ar_year=2005&doors=&systime=&listingCounter=0&mode l=S4&adModel=S4&pager.offset=25&search_lang=en&sty le_flag=1&start_year=2005&keywordsfyc=&keywordsfyc =&keywordsrep=&keywordsrep=&highlightFirstMakeMode l=&search_type=both&distance=200&min_price=&drive= &rdm=1240413203534&marketZipError=false&advanced=& fuel=&listingPriority=20&keywords_display=&end_yea r=2006&showZipError=n&make2=&certified=&engine=&ad BodyStyle=&page_location=findacar::ispsearchform&b ody_code=0&transmission=&first_record=26&default_s ort=priceDESC&max_mileage=&address=20906&color=&so rt_type=priceDESC&adMake=AUDI&max_price=&awsp=fals e&adClassSeries=&seller_type=b&make=AUDI&num_recor ds=25&cardist=24>

Same color combo I wanted (except I hate woodgrain with PASSION, but i'm sure there are aftermarket aluminum/CF trim pieces available) I figure I can get them down to about 19-20 OTD with a trade-in, as they would probably have better luck selling my TL than this beast of a car in VA.

Thoughts? I'm gonna go look at it tomorrow, weather is supposed to be nice. The only thing that slighty scares me off is insurance but I doubt they would classify an AWD, auto in the same area as a M3 or something...
