Thanks guys! No mods planned for now, Sly, but maybe in a little while.

Anyone have any idea about the Ipod question I had earlier?

Dont use ECS blinkers... they leak after a week. Parts4euro.com has much better ones for almost half the price!

I use the iPod interface in my B7. It sucks a$$.

Regarding the shuffling question though. From what I know, the iPod shuffle's songs when you hit the "shuffle" button. it doesn't shuffle songs every time you switch to a new track. So this way, when you cycle through tracks, it remains in the order it was shuffled. If you want it to shuffle again, gotta hit the shuffle button again.

The iPod interface shouldn't have anything to do with how it shuffles tracks.

And no, I haven't had time to read the manual yet
Had my A5 since September, I don't think there is a shuffle command or random play option for the Ipod interface. I think the only option is to set up a playlist on your Ipod with various artists.

Didn't I hear Audi was ditching the 3.2 VR6 for 2010 on the A3 and TT? If so, they might go back to offering a regular 6mt alongside the S-tronic for the 2.0T

We actually took a test drive ourselves a few weeks ago and came away very impressed by the new A4. Our salesman wasn't afraid to show us the capability of the car by doing some hard braking on a half road, half gravel surfaces, swerving to show us the handling and pushing the car on on and off ramps to demonstrate the Quattro system. Of course, she handled herself like a champ.

What to say about the silly turning radius; we came away impressed for sure. Audi has definitely closed the gap between the A4 and the 3-series.

I wish mine would take 3.5 months. I think it'll be more like 5 months for me.

My 08 has this interface, and well, I've tried to leave my iPod in shuffle mode then I'd plug it in, but it would switch back. idk, I don't like it at all, looking forward to installing an aftermarket system.

BTW, nice B8!

Just found a problem with the clear bra on mine last saturday. from the outside looks like it got scorched, but I don't know how gonna have to have the clear bra removed and hope that the paint isn't damaged.

I'm in the middle of detailing mine so many swirls!

IMO clear bras are too noticeable, wax lines, air bubbles, lines... Maybe I've only seen ugly ones, but if I were you I'd remove it and leave it off...

This one is from Futrell Autowerks, off of Baseline near 185th Aloha area...

There is also another one in the area with 20'' chrome wheels that has quite a bit of mods as well...

It is a shitty day and though I just washed it, I didn't bother drying it very well because it's about to rain again.

S4 ride height looks good with 19'' wheels. Nice wheel choice...

Is that condensation in your driver side headlight?

It's been raining for what seems like a week and will for the foreseeable future, unfortunately. As soon as I get a dry day, I'll mow it. Right now, the wet grass would choke my mower

Thanks for the compliment

Thanks ... 19s look great on the B6/B7 ... I'm starting to hear noises that make me think new shocks/struts are not long off ... Probably going to get Koni PSS9s as a replacement.

Both headlights have the condensation issue

I haven't taken them out to do the o-ring mod yet.

I'm also going to Plasti-dip the grilles so I thought I'd so it all at once. If the rain ever stops ...

Ok I think I figured it out last night. From the MMI Screen select [all], then all the songs in your ipod should be listed. Change the display interface by pressing [control], you should now have the circular interface. At the five o'clock position there is the option [mix]. Selecting mix will randomly play all tracks in your ipod.

I have the Navi package so I am not sure if the interface is different from the non-navi models.

Viking, Are you leasing your A5? if so, how much are you paying?

reason I ask because I know crap load people comes to audi to lease A5/S5, but they always ended up walking out of the dealer with empty hand. People were amazed how expensive it is to lease A5/S5.... We even recommend customers to purchase the car than leasing. Far as I know, with $3000 down, people still be paying around $8-900 a month w/o tax.

One of the biggest reason why you don't see too many A5/S5 out on the road.

No I didn't lease, I financed it. Yeah, I did hear the lease price was out of control. I ordered it in May'08 and got it in Sept'08 so there was a wait, probably driving up the lease price.

I didn't notice it till I got home, but the letters are shifted to the left so it appears as though it's not perfectly centered.

Quality control on vanity plates seems non-existent.

I got DMB FAN in DC (for Dave Matthews Band) and it looked like DMBF AN ... Seriously

That sucks dude. What did you do to correct it?

I have another vanity plate on the way for the Integra, if they don't disapprove of it this time around , hopefully that one comes out centered.

Update + Pictures

I have cleared and blacked out the headlights, blacked out the grill using Plasti-dip, filler plate, wrapped the rear trunk trim in black vinyl, and debadged the trunk.

And a detail, oh, and had the wheels powder coated gunmetal.

Like, no like?

Some pictures look funny, trying to improve my post processing skills.

Lookin' good. Is it reflection or is your front filler plate painted silver?

Personally, I think it'd look better black as well. Also, please don't tint your tails.

^ Its stock grey, just looks bright when in direct sunlight.

And I won't tint the tail lights, I like the red contrast. IMO, tinting tails look better on lighter color cars.
