Yes OBM is definitely my favorite. I think I like blue cars in general after coming from the F so it will be interesting to see how much I like the new color.
While looking at V pictures I found this beauty. Perfect ride height too.

^ Yeah, this (and the Porsche) is a break for me. Every vehicle I've owned since my 1998 3.0 CL has been blue. I still have my FJ which is blue... but the Porsche being black and this being silver is out of character for me. But I must say that so far, I am loving the silver...

I hope I like my black as much as you like your silver. Cause every time I see that blue I

I like the blue so much I've thought about either wrapping my S2000 in the same color blue, or swapping out for a 2007+ Laguna Blue. The former is more likely. I was chagrined at the extremely limited color palate for the Sport Hybrid, too.

Light interior and no Recaros doesn't help its sale either. At least in my opinion.

Oof...black on yellow is le sex.
I noticed the worn light leather and no recaro option on that burgundy one. Funny, the only negative review I read on the CTS-V was the recaro's not being comfortable on an online video review. I wonder how bad the oem seats are.

I think the Recaros are awesome. I don't even have them dialed in yet but I think they are very comfortable.

Stock seats are springy but stiff, think cheap mattress. They squeak sometimes too. Def not the most comfortable seat I've sat in, but def not the worst either.

Actually, the regular seats are comfortable other than that they don't have thigh extenders and the seat cushions are a little short for my long thighs. The primary issue with the regular seats is that they lower the value of the car as there is a premium on the market for the Recaros. I happen to like the Recaros better, having experienced both in my ownership of two V, as they are more adjustable and are ventilated/heated, unlike the regular seats, which are just heated.

The regular seats almost remind me of an old truck bench seat (in a good way). The TL seats were more comfortable, hugged you better. But you definitely don't slide around in the seat. It offers just enough support. The recaros are worth the extra coin. If I ever swapped seats though, I might grab ones from the ats-v if they fit.

Yeah, that was one of the red Vs I considered. But when I looked at it they are around $48k. Told them I may be interested around $40k but they wouldn't budge. Funny that it's down to $41k now
Yeah, at the price they wanted and not having the Recaro seats and the light interior was a deal breaker for me...
They are fantastic. Took me a little bit to get my seating position right but man, I love those things... As was mentioned the non-Recaro seats are pretty comfy (and some people think the nons are better) but as much as I read that, it does affect resale IMO. I am happy I left Recaro seats on my checklist...

The inflated prices are biting them in the ass.. It just dropped to 41k. In the market for 4 months now.. 2012 Cadillac CTS-V Wagon | Addison, Texas | Texas Hot Rides

Yeah I thought it was definitely pricey for what it was. Seats look in almost perfect condition though like they were hardly used. But I paid less and already have a few mods than that one.

That's a steal.. I wonder which lingenfelter package it is.. I'm guessing the standard 2.55" pulley. Hopefully tuned as well.
I think someone was up in here saying they wanted a dark grey 6MT Vagon with Recaros.. not going to say who, but you know who he is.

^ Yes, one of the guys called the dealer and was told:

So yeah, that looks like a steal!

The car has 2 owners... first owner the guy said was lease company ORP fleet LLC I think he said the name was. Then the owner bought the lease out.

The car has a clean title.

The Lingenfelter part of the car is the owner had them put on a pully intake and tune. The sales guy for what its worth said the work doesn't void the warranty and the car still has its factory warranty with it.

The sales guy didn't mention anything about it being a rare car just a fun car and the owner got rid of it because he got a new RS7

I can't really tell much about that dealership.. seems like all online carsdotcom sales. Their website is stuck in the early 90s, no further details on the V there. Regardless, I'd make sure that puppy had a good tune first. Did they swap out the seats as well? That would be perfect for me.. not being a fan of the sunroof and all.

I just watched a clip about the new '16 CTS-V.. interestingly enough it has dual tips. The inside tip has an active gate (cut-off) after the muffler, which would make me think that it's actually a passthrough on the muffler. It activates when the V is in sport mode. Interesting design.. anyways.. I think this is where I'm headed.

Sooo...then I'll be patient and let the stars align and buy your lightly used one in a year from now. Bro pricing (I'll start doing my kegels now).
That 6MT is the exact one I'd love...Wagon and stick and not rebuilt title.
Fleet/Lease is scary...but...sometimes you have to take a chance.

I got the ending ebay auction notification on that...at this rate, I'll have it down to $30K by February and I'll be able to jump on it!
I think I have decided that if I'm gonna go on this mission within the next year...I'm gonna not rush things and just settle for whatever. I want a V Wagon...I need to be able to haul stuff, that's a major selling point for me. Power, looks, and Wagon? Fking A hell yeah.
