Its not. I like the Camaro. Saw a black one last week. They are cool for what they are, I'd drive one.

But the Challenger just has this road presence in the right color (black or orange)

If you've seen my posts on the Camaro, you know I'm not a fan of the looks. However, like most ugly cars, it can look ok in certain colors, and in person is always different than in pictures. Still, I don't think it will ever compare, looks-wise, to the Challenger. Personally, I like Challenger in black, flat black, dark gray, and dark red.

I've only seen one challenger in flat black, and he just got it done, its on the forums. I think his is the only one at this time.

Its pretty fucking mean.

But everyone in this forum pretty much knows my giant boner for the chally.

I was thinking of the drag version that was on Inside Line last year...figured it was only a matter of time before a regular person did it.

as u can see i need to let the sun heat up the bumper cause it got a little mis-shapen in the middle from being on the bumper stand. and dont mind the paint on the exhaust. its getting cut off and replaced with a hidden flowmaster 50 series. and the spare tire mount is getting removed (which is what u see under the middle)

new windshield is going on monday and window tint up front in the next couple weeks.

Looks Amazing man...you should be proud. I just wish you would do that on a regular basis, make a living from it, eventually have your own shop. But good work man! Cant wait to see it with the lights, tint, rims and that ugly exhaust cut off. And get the interior put back together slacker! HAHA, jk man.

Nice, the back looks bad ass now with the tails! I know I remember you were going back and forth on the wheels and I may have missed your final decision. ETA on them?

thanks again guys. unfortunatly shes still saying were not going to work out our marriage...but i decided to be the nice guy and let her drive the truck but am not giving it to her to keep.

shell be home in less than 2 weeks so im just going to go day by day and see what happens when she comes home, but my hopes arent too high. all of my friends and family say not to let her drive the truck and tell her to go fuck herself, but i still dont feel right doing that. its a tough decision to make. ill let u guys know what happens next week, wish me luck!

Good luck man and I know you feel like you did it for her and part of you probably feels like it will help get her back (even though deep down you know the truck cant fix things). I would say you might as well let her drive it around but don't let her take advantage of you. Be strong, things will work out

well she thinks im trying to buy her with the truck...which im not.

i started building it before i realized how serious she was about leaving...then it was too late to just stop with the build.

im going to tell her if she dosent take good care of it,and if shes a total cunt to me im going to take it back. but well see when the time comes (soon)

thanks again!

edit: if i werent going to let her drive it i would just put it up for sale right now to get as much money as i could, get completely out of debt with money left over and only have to worry about the challenger monthly payment. i would never drive it as it were my own...its a nice truck, but i hate trucks and would never own one as a daily driver

If I were in your shoes, I'd just sell it given your personal situation, to recoup some of your costs. If she's already saying that you're using a truck to keep her, this is going to be a problem. The truck looks so beautiful, it'd have some buyers.

Wow bro, that's a fucking beautiful truck. I'm not a truck person at all, but that's a sexy vehicle. I may be partially attracted to the color more than the truck itself =). I love white everything!
My next ride... maybe a white CBR

only thing is,i promised her the truck already to drive... so it would be fucked to take that back..plus shes put a few hundred $ into it herself.

none of the cost to build this truck came out of pocket except a couple hundred on misc parts for the stereo n stuff.

everything put into this truck came from the insurance claim, which my parents pay the insurance cause it used to be in thier business name

You know, you may have promised her she could drive the truck, but when you got married, she promised to be faithful and true.

Get a good lawyer, make sure you are protected from her and keep your kid.

Oh, and if you can't drive it, sell the truck. You know she will come after anything you own.
