Nice catch!!!
Surprised anyone saw it there. I showed up, asked myself "Why am I here?, and then left. Too cold.
Speaking of, led a drive out west to explore some hills with a group Sat. Got caught in some sleet, no accidents! I was expecting 5 to show up and 16 did.

The Small Burger.

The Large Burger. (Note the coffee cup for size comparison) (wtf)

Stellar fucking video dude!!! Congrats on all your success! It was cool hearing how you hooked up with those guys and of course the car speaks for itself. Great work!
Got my car corner balanced this week. Total weight without driver is 2381 lbs.
Turned out I'm not low enough to get my desired -3.3 degrees of camber in the front so I'm gonna have to drop it more, and repeat the corner balance/alignment. It was a $315 mistake, but what are ya gonna do.
Got a new parking spot as well, which is money.

Back from the dead...kinda.
I still have it. 8 years later and I still love it. The suspension has been complete redone since the last time I posted and I finally went the hardtop route. I dont 'really drive the car much anymore but can't bring myself to sell it. My commute grew by 35 miles and an hour mid last year and I had to take it off daily duties. As it sits, I've put 156k (about 2k last year) miles on it and it still looks/drives brand new.

Everything is going really well. My wife is due, with TWINS, next month. Not completely freaking out anymore, but still going to be one helluva ride. I now actually work full time for my first photo client, Car Wrap City, now which is amazing. I'm still shooting constantly in Dallas, keep my website fairly updated so check it out. A lot of the stuff I shoot I can't really post immediately so I often just never post it. I've often debated on going full time with it, but enjoy being able to pick and choose who/what I shoot.
I may need to switch this thread to my new daily. =)
With that new job comes 80 extra miles of commute per day. I wanted something that would be comfy in hours of traffic, could hold kids, easily modded and adventure friendly. Absolutely couldn't do the Jeep thing...so I opted for the next best thing.
I'm probably just going to throw some bumpers on it, a snorkel, winch and a couple more lights and be done. Pretty happy with everything I've done to it so far.

I love it. It is bright enough to 1000% overpower my highbeams. I went through several mounts until I found this one, wired it through the roll bar...it makes zero noise as well. No buffeting and no whistling.

Holy shit. Acurazine.
Doing my annual thread update. Finally something worth sharing.
So I took the car off the road a couple of years ago when I bought my FJ. As the car sat, I began to want to really update it. I stripped the 787b wrap off and began to fall in love with it all over again. Its had a fairly easy life, although I did rack up 150k miles commuting in it which led to tons of rock chips and a few dings. I wanted to get the front clip resprayed and get it really just looking like a new car again as well as refresh the interior some.
So. All of that went to shit. I decided to go full retard.
Here is my interior as it sits, with all the recent mods installed.

Elise Probax Seats w/Custom mounts - Really wanted these since 06. Its a super pricey mod, race seats can be had cheaper, but these are rad. They're very comfortable and allow my giant 6'2" fat frame to sit nice and low in the car. My line of sight is just about the steering wheel and I've got maybe 6-8" of headroom.
New Pioneer Headunit with focal components and a JL W3 underneath the soft top, behind the passenger seat.
Custom Gauges
Quilted Mats
Custom Steering Wheel
Door cards, center console from a 2014 NC.
Next, I bought a new set of headlights and had them retrofitted through TRS and equipped with BiXenon Mini H1s. I paired these with TRS's xB LED fog lights. For the rear I had a set of completely one off, custom tail lights to be made. I have never liked the look of the factory altezza style lights. At one time, I saw a company in Japan graft an NA tail light into an NC tail light by physically heating and stretching the housing.

This brings us to its current state. I'm about 6mo into the build with maybe 3-4 to go. I decided I wanted it resprayed in a whole new color. I wanted a shade of grey but something that was unique. I settled on Mazda's Ceramic Metallic. In some light its white, in some light it looks like glossy primer...tons of flake. Its one of those stare at me colors that isn't in your face, if that makes sense. Hopefully we aren't too far out from stabbing the LS6 in it (
) for a nice bump to the 160whp it went into the shop having. It dyno'd at the crank at a bit over 500. I guestimate it'll be around 430-450 at the wheel when its all said and done. Its a fairly basic build.. FAST Injectors, Intake, etc and a big ass cam. Its set up fro nitrous and/or FI down the road if we decide we want to do that.
6 pot Wilwoods are going up front, 4 piston in the back..this also means new wheels are coming too because I don't have anything currently that will clear the brakes, but I haven't quite decided on which I'm going with.

...Still have the FJ as well. I've added over 1k lbs of junk to it. Its a pig and I love it.
