Car is in the air, commence fender rolling.

Also, picking up some black seats today. Dont know what I'm going to do with them, but they are cloth and will feel nice in the summer.

Long behold...Turns out Discount shipped the wrong tires, so I got 245/40s for the price of 235s.

Fucking sticks to the road like nothing I've ever driven before.

Ok, I noticed you mentioned the Comp2s on the previous page but wasnt sure if thats what you got. TireRack says they wont be available until the first week of April. Im getting ready to buy new tires, and Im trying to decide between the Comp2s and the Conti DWs. Similar prices, but the Contis have tons of reviews and weigh about 4lbs less per tire. Ive had the old g-force Sports and wasnt impressed though.

holy fat tires on a little car batman.

Look good. Actually makes the little bugger aggressive.

Be careful with launches though...more rubber = harder on the axles.

Thanks guys.

Sarlacc, they are massive. It looks weird/insanely badass looking at the rear of the car. Im glad I didn't go with 255s, I don't think I would have the clearance for it with out really going medieval on the fenders. Luckily I dont launch it really...ever. Its not a fast car in a straight line at all...maybe 15s quarter with the performance mods I've done. In the corners though...different story.

I didn't want to be able to see from the outside that they've been rolled.

I liked your old set up, but your new wheels/tires are much better than your old ones.

I'm the only one, but I like no center caps. Maybe because I'm used to seeing wheels like the Meister S1 and RPF1 without center caps?

4 Years and 85,000 miles.

Washed and waxed her over the weekend.

Also, I found some RPF1 Center Caps in the Black Market over on the Miata forum for more than half off. I'll probably still attempt a custom cap, but for the time being...it will be the RPF1 cap, I can always sell them.

Next mod...TONS of Alcantara. I want to re-wrap the steering wheel, shift boot, brake boot, gauge hood cover and possible the door pulls. All black...

...but what color stitching? White will get dirty so my options are either black, which will be the cleanest or Yellow/Orange like the seats' stitching.

I guess I could always "make" it black if I didn't like it.

I like the idea of some contrast. Plus, on the gauge hood cover it would look sweet.

I dont think the brown would match the seats though.

BTW, pics of the seats? I looked really quickly through your thread and didnt see them.

The stitch would be the yellowish stitch as seen here. I need to get better interior shots...

Id get something that matches the leather on the seats. After seeing the pics of the seats, the top actually does match it - somewhat.

Both are those wierd colors that are impossible to take pictures of. Case and point.

...and just browsing through pictures, its changed a shit ton from when I first bought it. I dont even recognize this car anymore.

That looks damn good! I hate eyelids but yours are growing on me and make the car look mean. Still unsure about the LED thin lights, are they running like an Audi or fogs?

They are just DRLs. They turn on when I turn the car on and off with the ignition or when I turn my parking lights on. Anything to help get noticed a little more.

The first three years I had it, my daily commute to work and back was about 75 miles, now its less than 4. I only put on about 8k miles last year.
