JS+MS3's 2010 Mazdaspeed3 Updates (Still a 4x4)!
leave emblem alone.
you should leave the projector shroud, high beam housing and turn signal housing all chrome, black rest out. haha.. i say turn signal housing portion too so that people see your lights blinking imo.. just get those chrome bulbs that blink amber... then make it so that it ONLY blinks but not turn on when you click once for parking lights.
color match your fog bezels.
then again.. these are my opinions.. lol
just wanna put some input in before you go do it and you don't like it too...
at least for my opinion, you can always go back and paint more...
haha

Pretty nice huh? That SEAM car actually was what got me into this blacked out headlight for my car.
Chrome bulb for signals is a good idea.
And what color are you talking about for the fog light bezel? The stock is very light grey right now. Did you mean black color?
I know. And that's my ideal MS3 too. I'm so over with a black car. This is going to be my last black for my entire life. Never again. lol

That's a base 3, but I think that front grille insert is being made to be fit on MS3s.
I don't like the look of it though.
But it will be great for people with a FMIC kit.

yes yes yes. I'll probably get over it and try a good used car at one point. But I like getting a new car right now. I'm planning to keep my car for quite awhile after I pay it off, so I'm alright.

Finally mounted and balanced.

Both my car and the rims/tires are extremely dirty, so I only have one picture to show you guys. I'm getting my car fully detailed probably next weekend. I'll do a proper photoshoot after.
Rim Spec: Advan RZ 18x8 +45 (Bought Used for $1200)
Tire Spec: Conti ExtremeContact DW 235/40/18 (Bought for $560)
I was going to put my stock tires and ride them out first, but these ExtremeContact DW tires are on a incredible national sale... The pricing was too good for me to pass up. I just said eff it, happy early birthday aaron and bought them.
The tires look fat and meaty which was the look that I always wanted to have on my car. I really, really like the rugged and dirty aggressive type of look on this car for some reason. The initial driving impression is AWESOME. Much smoother and easier to drive on the corners. The car feel lighter for sure. I shaved off about 5-6 lbs per corner, so I was told that it's about 200lbs off the entire car while moving. Don't know how accurate that figure is, but it does feel like the car is much more effortless when accelerating off the line.
I'm going to take easy on the drive and get the lug nuts re-tighten next weekend.
Posting a lame picture when you get new wheels put on should be a bannable offense
. From what I can see, though, they look really good
...add in a drop and it will perfect.
And losing any rotational weight is a great thing...5-6 pounds a corner is huge.

What size do you need? You should pick up the same set, it's on its closeout sale.
Sorry about that haha
I promise to get some good pictures soon.
I know! haha... The employees who worked at the tire shop were saying the same thing. They were like "you have a very good set of rims/tires on a very nice car..... but please drop it soon. please."
