btw, if you weren't doing much passing don't you want to be in sixth gear when going 80-85 just to save some gas?

That's no fun though.

but really, 80mph@5th gear vs 80mph@6th gear: not that much of difference in fuel economy.

The only time I've slipped my car into 6th gear is when I went over 85mph for a brief moment to check what the car felt like... as I coasted back to 80mph and under, the car felt like crap so I downshifted back to 5th. There aren't many places around California where I'd comfortably cruise at 85mph... too many

ps. Conrats on the marriage!

Were you there with anyone else from LA? I have a Korean coworker who was in Vegas for some event like that over the weekend, drives an IS250 F-Sport. Just wondering ...

That's what I wanted to say. The car feels like crap if I try to coast in 6th gear@80mph.

Oh no worries about the email dood. I put the Denso ITV22s in and have been taking it easy on the car lately. Now that it's finally cooled down a bit I will do a datalog soon to see if any KR is still there.

BTW I took off the gutted cat and put back on an intact one and since then the smoke issue has gone away completely. In the end the few extra horsepower wasn't worth the smoke cloud every other morning.

I was in Vegas for work, but let's be honest, 95% of the time it was for fun ha ha. My company has a booth at AAPEX so I went early to help set it up so that's why I was there Sunday. I just got back last night, so only one day of the show and not enough time to get to SEMA, but it was still fun.

On the flipside, I'm 39, have three kids, and still no minivan. We do have a Pilot though...it's pretty close.

T - I thought I saw you coming out of the Rubio's exit onto Pima today while I was devouring a lobster taco, but it was that other red M5 with the M-stripes down the front fender. He must either work at or own a business in that plaza because I've seen the same car numerous times there.

I have yet to see that guy. There's another Scottsdale guy with an Indy Red E60 M5 on the M5Board, I wonder if it could be him (although, I don't know if he has the M stripes...not a fan of that look, btw.).

It must be that guy, there can't be many out there. And yes, the stripes are not a good look at all.

Perhaps I should ping him and see if he'd like to meet up; stripes or no, I'd still like to see what he's done.

I know that guy over at msf.

Those rims surprisingly look pretty damn good on the car. It's like powder green color.

Some are gifs I find on the internet, others I actually pull from movies. I get bored easily.
