Top contenders so far are Lexus IS350 F and Infiniti Q50S both 2014-16.

Right now I am leaning towards the Infiniti looking at the stock platforms but looking strictly at tuning capabilities I am leaning towards the Lexus. What with the amount of people tuning and with Aimgain support I could have a lot of fun. But that Infiniti honestly seems like a better value so not sure why it is cheaper than the Lexus. But then again Im not sure why the ILX costs so fucking much so maybe car MSRP is like a golf score. Id hate to be the sucker that picks up a Ford GT

The Infiniti is cheaper than the Lexus because it's a Nissan. Not a Toyota.

You're not looking old enough on the Lexus. You can get one that's very affordable and will run forever.

You obviously don't get it. It's better to look cool driving a newer model year car and be broke vs the embarrassment of driving a slightly older/previous gen model and have money in the bank.

The American dream is to live paycheck to paycheck.

Luckily he's still kind of young (late 20's? early 30's?) so he should make poor financial decisions now and enjoy it while he can.

The really smart person can do both. For instance, I find that driving an affordable crapbox is the best way to keep money in the bank. But how to look cool? Easy!!! Whenever I'm out and find a cool car, I'll pose with it and take my selfies to post on insergram later.

Same thing goes with anything...

Happen upon a cool neighborhood with huge mansions? *click* "Look who just moved in to a new hood!"

Going to the fish market? Stop by the marina and *click* "Just taking the Carver C52 out for a quick jaunt!"

Cars and Coffee this weekend? Cool. *click* "Took my 720s out to the meet today."

*click*, *click*, *click*

"Quick dinner tonight", "watching the game with the owner", "new boobs for the wife girlfriend"

Easy.

There was a fake 2nd mortgage that was part of the lotto scheme. He also screwed up and underinsured the house. He'd made millions in his career and pissed it all away. This was his desperate last attempt to start over financially.

Speaking of instagram.... usdmJON, did you ever get your ILX on Acura's instagram page? It would be sad to have put in all that time and work trolling visiting and replying to Acura's instagram page to not even get 1 mention. I wouldn't sell the ILX until they post it up.

Please don't learn my tricks. I keep 'em dumb and keep 'em turnin' and earnin'. An educated trick is the worst trick. They start thinking they smart and then you gotta' lay down the Ike Turner on 'em.

If you're looking at the Q50S go with a 2015 +.. The 2014 was the first year of the Q50 and it had issues with the new (at the time) steer by wire system that was resolved with several software updates. Some owners also complained that the infotainment system was slow to turn on and would lag a lot and freeze.. Again this was also corrected with software updates but to play it safe the 2015 + are a safer choice since the first year bugs seemed to be worked out. My son bought his 2015 Q50S AWD new almost two years ago and now 20K miles later has no complaints, it has been a flawless daily driver.

In case you weren't aware, the Q50S comes with runflats which really destroys the ride so shortly after buying it he put on a set of Michelin AS/3's and what a difference they made in ride and handling not to mention the traction in rain was much improved. Another suggestion, if you test drive one make sure you take it out of ECO mode because it can barely get out of its own way in ECO.. In normal it's much better, but to really see what it can do just put in sport mode and have some fun. His has the Infinti performance exhaust on it and I've driven it several times and it's a blast to drive.

Good Luck..

I'm seriously disappointed in some of the advice you guys are giving this guy...... OP honestly if you're dead set on making a bad financial decision, make that shit count. Don't get no damn RC-350. Go big or go home. Get a GT-R, M5, RS7, Maserati, a used Gallardo, etc. You know what the best part about these cars is? They all come with a pussy magnet. The only bait you're going to pull in that RC-350 is teenage asian boys.

PS - If they give you trouble about financing any of the cars I mentioned, there is a workaround. Just get a cosigner.
