Help me replace my 2013 ILX.
FYI, C/D's review of the 2017 IS350 F Sport:
2017 Lexus IS350 F Sport RWD
This IS is the one to get.
That said, just drive the wheels off of the ILX until it's financially practical to upgrade to what you really want.
Meet the 2018 Accord that I suggested. Came quicker than expected.

I'd be more concerned about you making $9/hr, instead of what nice car you can buy. Shiiiet, nice cars aren't going anywhere, anytime soon, but how the fuck aren't you making more? You can work as a laborer for a construction company and likely get double that. Lots of options that require little to no investment on your part.

The 2.0 ILX is/was the biggest sham ever. Lets just revel in the fact that he paid $32k for an economy car with 150 horsepower and leather seats. I cringe thinking of the endlessly better vehicles that could be had for that $32k. Well, you live and you learn.
Well, breaking it down...
$9/hr x 40hr/week x 52 week/year = $18,720, before taxes.
Not sure what taxes are where Jon resides, but to me, that looks like almost 3 years of wages, and that's assuming all his money goes towards the car, and zero living expenses whatsoever.
Yeah, I would say that's a terrible idea.

He's essentially buying a 40k car, for 50+k. Not sure what he owes but I assume it's over 10k on the ILX. Shiiiiet. Good luck Making that work for you at any point over the next at least 5 years.
Thanks for the advice gents. Most of it was appreciated.
Which is pretty much the boat I have come to realize I sit in and I am trying to get out of as soon as possible.

We tried to tell you since the beginning that it was nothing more than a glorified Civic. But no, you wouldn't have it. We were just a bunch of hatters who didn't know what we were talking about.
2. From day 1 I said it was a civic in a tux.
3. I am going to go get some sexy ass shrimp tacos.
The ones with lips verse concave faces look pretty good but I still have yet to see anyone on them outside of the promo shoot which I honestly find hilarious. Most Work fan boys werent a fan of the vossen collaboration. And frankly most Vossen fan boys are the type to say Work wheels are too expensive and not worth it so frankly both companies created a child no one wanted or wanted but couldnt afford.

Isn't this the American way? Of course the Canuckistanian wouldn't understand...
