I couldn't stay away from this look. At this point at least I can still rotate the tires. Who knows what the future holds?

I really like the CF finish and the suede inserts on the seats. Very comfy!

I've been looking for a looooong time. Now it's time to just learn the car and have some fun.

Thanks. Need to get a video camera before that happens. Besides I just figured out photobucket.

I saw your thread last week just after my second deal fell through, and I though my head was gonna All's well that ends well I suppose.
Mustangzine.....fwt!

Thank you, everyone, for the well wishes. My 06 TL served me well. It was one of the good examples...no rattles or any of the common Ack issues. I just wanted something completely different yet serviceable as a DD. I think I found it. It kinda feels good to give an American car maker a shot. We'll see how it goes.

I got my MGW shifter in the mail today, will be installing it tomorrow.

heh, you went from an 06 TL to a 13 Mustang too.

You doing the install yourself? I don't trust myself.

I'll probably do a shifter too. I'm thinking I'll go with a Barton Shifter with the new bracket. I think the install is a bit easier, than the MGW. Eventually I think I'll get an aluminum 1 piece drive shaft.

oh...and some GT500 axel backs.

I'm a Mechanic lol. I will be doing it at home though so no lift.
I thought about the Barton but with the bracket it's not much cheaper than the MGW.

btw, I just ticked 700 miles in 2 weeks. I hope you enjoy yours as much as I do.

Where are you? I'll come by your shop for the install!

I drove it 150 miles getting it home from the dealer today. So yeah....I'll be driving her.

What gears do you have? I have 3.73, and they keep the engine spinning pretty high on the highway.

Road trip. I'm on the other side of the country. Los Angeles.
Was your dealer that far or you took the "long way?"

I have 3.73s as well. Yeah, 80mph and it's around 2,500rpm

Congratulations pttl! What a stunning vehicle, the new GTs look out of this world. I always mistake them for Shelby's when they drive by, I really have to look to make sure!

Enjoy her in the best of health as I know you've been car shopping for quite a while, but seems like you hit the jackpot, loved it when I drove it. Color combo couldn't look any meaner. Once it's tinted, should look even better. Any plans to make it louder?

looks like you picked it up in my neck of the woods too.

I'm actually thinking of getting the 3.31's. Would that be bad?

The emblem on the door panel is a nice throwback touch! Now we need to hear the story about the purchase. It's a long weekend you can stay up and share

Thank you Sir! Yeah I probably drove right past your house!

If I go louder it will only be marginally. I'll put the GT500 Axel backs on it and call it a day. Deeper and more rumble but still no drone, from what I understand.

Keep the 3.73s! Shorter gears better for the strip.
