Not to my knowledge. I'm pretty sure that they're the same size.

Not all the time. It she stays in the garage at home but when at work she sits in the sun all day. We had a few really hot days, but other wise not too bad.

I had a few air bubbles that went away after a few days. How many air bubbles do you have and how large are they?

I'm gonna wash her today. I'll take some pics and post them so they can be seen.

The tint came out fine, but looks wise, this clearbra drives me nuts....even though it has already saved my paint once, from the parking lot A-hole.

If the bubbles arent really bad, just leave them for another week + a few days. If they still arent gone, contact the installer.

Here are a couple of pics that I could get of some of the bubbles. There are also some other blemishes that aren't bubbles but get on my nerves just the same. I can't get the camera to pick them up.

Bubbles:

on top of the mirror

My gifts left behind by some douche in a parking lot. I got most of the paint off with some compound and polish. Good thing these marks are actually on the bra.

Yea, judging by the size of those bubbles, I dont think theyre going to iron themselves out in the next week. The few bubbles I had were much smaller. Those should have come out with the squeegee as it was applied.

Was it front bumper, hood, fenders, mirrors, and a-pillars for that price? Mine cost that much with the areas behind each wheel, the trunk opening, and the gas door opening done as well. Since youre in the TriState area, I dont think the price is that bad.

Yep. Those were the places that were covered. Everything costs more here in NJ except for gas. I can live with the price...i just hate the effing defects in the work.

I have the feeling they will do anything to not replace it. Typical South Jersey BS. But we'll see.

^^^I like it, small and stealthy.
What a car, congrats on the pick up. I was HEAVILY into getting one of these when the 2011's came out...test drove a CS with 3.73's 3 different times, just couldn't get myself to pull the trigger. Figured I'd be patient and get a used one one day.

PS, I've been deathly afraid of the tranny issues...has this been addressed by Ford?

Thanks. Ford has never come out and even acknowledged officially that there was a problem with the transmissions.

However...they have been unofficially making modifications to the transmission as time has gone along. Thats why I waited for the 3rd model year of this drive train. Does it guarantee me anything? Nope....just holding my breath. But I really like the car.

^^^That's some sound logic, my friend...wasn't knocking, was really curious about the solution as that's been the main reason I justified not getting it in the years following my viagra-like test drive results.

^^^I actually feel like that left me with more of a negative impression of the car rather than a positive though. Highlighted the only real huge selling point being the muscle in the engine but none of the confidence in harnessing it etc...having to be very on point to keep it controlled etc...bad brake dive.

Still...the roar of that motor...

Is that bad brake dive with the Brembo package or just the standard brakes?

So what causes that? Crappy front suspension?

That said, 0-60 in 4.3 and 12.7 @ 111mph is pretty good

The vid bring up true points. Can't rush the tranny...a $400 shifter and shift bracket upgrade will take care of that. The suspension is probably too soft for a car of this power. At some point, when $$$ is there, I'll try to do a suspension upgrade. Lowering springs, better dampers...then there are the strut mounts to keep camber in line, and a panhard bar to keep the rear axle centered. Probably a $1600 mod in total.

But for me those 2 short comings are non-issues, for now, as I'm not one to beat my cars, or drive at 9/10.

In the vid he says that the mustang is big and heavy. It's the smallest and lightest of the 3 muscle cars, which was one of the main selling points for me. Plus I love the way it looks.

And yes...the more I drive it, the more I love the car.

Ford tuned the suspension is too soft...for more sales to the masses I suppose. Though when one puts foot in a sports coupe, a certain stiffness is expected.

Yes...in stock form, it gets up and goes in a big effin hurry!

Thanks for the response pttl...sounds like you are being very honest about the shortcomings and how you plan to tackle them. Not like any of our cars were perfect right out of the box either!

Dunno how serious you guys are about suspension mods but for some more coin instead of a panhard bar you could try a Watts link. The PHB is essential but the Watts is a huge improvement, it makes the rear feel connected to the front.... in every corner it just follows.

So how many miles have you got on your GT/CS?

I just passed 2,000 yesterday and planning on my first oil change soon. As soon as I find some damn 5w-50. Ford wants an arm and a leg per quart even with my discount.
