She had it in her head that it would be better than the Wrangler we test drove a few years ago.
She ended up with an Expedition Max

A Wrangler was on the shortlist when I replaced the Malibu, just couldn't justify the cost, compared to the Explorer.
And the hilarious part is that they don't even depreciate much so buying a lightly used one is out of the question too.
I will say that they are worth the hype though and I will own a Wrangler again someday.

My wife really wanted a Bronco when we were looking at replacing her Flex.

wrangler pricing is a strange thing to me, same neighbor with the expedition Max, his son had 2 wranglers (at different times) and we were talking prices, unbelievable. Here in central Florida they are everywhere too.
If it checks out, fly out and drive it home. I've done it twice now and will definitely do it again, it's a ton of fun and some great memories.
Looks like I’m getting a 2023 Ioniq 6 SEL AWD on a one-pay for about $9200 for a 24 month lease. About $383 a month effective. Assuming the dealer doesn’t pull anything screwy of course. Getting $5K off the car plus the $7500 EV incentive and a Hyundai loyalty incentive.
Thanks all for the advice and ideas. This car is so cheap on a one-pay I couldn’t turn it down.

The limits to the incentive don't apply to commercial purchases so you can get it on anything if it's a commercial one...like a lease is since the car is bought by a commercial entity. The lender just needs to be willing to pass those savings along to you.
The credit pass through is the only way I would have done this to be honest. Looking forward to getting an EV. Probably going to need some electric work on the house.
Anyone know if you can pull a new run from the utility meter to a garage with a new mini panel just for the 40A circuit? Electrician told me my existing panel is full and I don’t want to drop $10K for L2 charging.

The biggest question is do you have a 200A service (unless your home is old, this is likely), and if your panel is full, how much of the 200A are you currently utilizing? If you're under that limit in your current panel, you likely can add a second panel off of the meter.
Do you have a dryer? Where is it in relation to the garage?

I'm not an electrician but I don't think it works this way. Are there other outlets in the garage already? If so, you can re run a 240V line from your panel using the spots occupied by those circuits to a sub panel in the garage and split accordingly. You may be able to get a second meter as well but I'm not sure how that works. May be good to get time of day charging with the second meter as well.
I thought about that. My Mazda has 94K on it and my wife’s 2013 Elantra GT has 92K on it. So I decided to lease for two years and then we are going to reboot our car situation completely with two new/newer cars.
I love it so far. It’s only been about 20 hours but I drove into DC during rush hour and it makes such a difference. Going to get Exoshield on Monday for the windshield. The quote for ceramic coating was high (I thought) because they want to do paint correction first. Quotes were around $1400 for a 3-year coating.
I’m debating as I got the car so cheap I may keep it after the lease ends and ceramic coating doesn’t need to be removed like PPF before turning it in if I don’t keep it.
I think it’s too expensive at $52K but at the $37K I got it for I think it’s a great car and the cost cutting is understandable.

I could see a black E30 or E39, but otherwise, pass.
