I think all of the 911 lineup is turbo now as well with the exception of the GT3... the word obviously doesn't mean much to Porsche anymore...

It says when they tested the P100D, it did 10.4 in 1/4.... so that means the 911 if faster than them all
10.1 in 1/4 for the Turbo S

Made something cool today!
That livery reminds me of that trophy truck arcade game from back in the day

That looks awesome! Are those individual pieces or did you custom dye all the colors in?
Such an awesome, iconic livery. Wouldn't mind Toyota bringing it (or Castrol) back in a retro-version in the future.

Thanks Justn. It's definitely not perfect, but is a lot of fun.

Is it me or i think the cars are getting toooo fast nowadays...
M8 Comp can be driven everyday and service as a normal car yet. it does 0-60 in 2s and 1/4 in mid 10s and average 26mpg, Stock everything..
The car probably has close to 800bhp with 129mph trap speed...

But that C8 tho.... performance bargain of the decade, if you dont need back seat..

Insanity and it's super sexy
2024 Honda Civic Type R
Nah... $150k should be able to get you that. Now if you were talking $50k, that would be a different story.
Safety Car
Are there any new cars with MSRP in the 50s that can get to 60 in under 3sec? (assuming no tax/title/etc/and just looking at pure MSRP)
If you can get the bare bones base C8 at $59,995.....

Being lucky is probably an understatement for that guy...
That's what he gets for not using his blinkers.

Lived there for 8 years. One accident. Car was hit from behind while stopped for a red light. Not really a big deal had it happen twice here. Difference was here I was in my 4X4 truck & the hitters imports were both towed away while the hittee went about his business. At the end of the day had a rear bumper replaced by the second ones insurance company.
Not much it should buff right out.

Transition Window Tint
Does this exist in an automotive application? The Flex needs the front windows redone for bubbling & a couple scratches in the tint. Was thinking about it yesterday while on our way to dinner.
We've had transition glasses for quite a while
Shoei [maybe others?] has transition visors
I believe there are transitions contact lenses now
The Mercedes has pretty dark windows, to the point of being almost a bit too dark at night. Seems transition would make a nice compromise, even if not quite as dark during the day.

Have you guys been hearing/seeing about a replacement pair of tires going on the rear of a car?
I got a new pair of tires for my brother's Accord, and the shop insisted on putting the new pair on the rear of the car. Their logic being this discourages oversteer in a panic situation.
Found myself in another discussion about it today, and I can't wrap my head around new tires going on the rear of a car as sensible. Maybe on a RWD or AWD vehicle you'd have a case. To me, this seems like compromising front grip (very important) for rear grip (less important, especially with ABS and traction control).
Curious on the thoughts of you regulars.
