Congrats Ken. I didn't realize those wheels were 19". No wonder they keep getting stolen.

Turbo should be in any day and I'll get that installed. It's amazing how difficult it's been to boost the CR-Z today verses when I did it on the 2012 CR-Z.
Heard confirmation we will have the RCF GT3 on the showroom next month and maybe...the new LS if Lexus loans it to us personally from our company event. Confirmed we'll have a Chiron at that event as well.

Touring has all features of the EX-L V6 plus:
19" wheels
LED Headlights (with auto highbeams)
LED Foglights
Dual stage shocks (straight from Acura)
Quieter and smoother ride (very Acura-like, reminds me of the RLX)
Garmin-based navigation (in addition to Android Auto/Apple Carplay)
Heated rear seats (in addition to the front)
Honda Sensing (parking sensors, ACC, LKAS, CMBS etc)

I didn't know the Accord was available with all of that these days. Congrats Ken!
The line between Honda and Acura somehow gets more blurred as time goes on. What else is exclusive anymore, besides SH-AWD and combined SH-AWD + hybrid powertrains? And price?

On a side note, it's annoying how mfgs are tacking on "sport" or "S" on everything nowadays, even entry level crossovers that have no business taking corners hard or even off-roading.
The trim levels are nothing special or meaningfully unique. Usually they're lower end models. Guess it sounds better than saying "base"

I had a newer Accord as a Lyft pickup a couple weeks ago. I'd guess a 2015 or so. I was pretty impressed by its interior accoutrements and features! They have come a LONG way.

Fisker just made Tesla look like dinosaur cars. They put solar panels ON THE CAR so it will charge will driving. Seems like such an obvious solution (?????)

I thought Teslas had solar panel roofs?
No?
Or at least one of them does/did?

Please. Do you really think it can't be done, it's 2017 and we are talking about Tesla, I bet you they know how to do it. Technology improvements can overcome pretty much anything. They just wanted to be able to charge the consumer for charging.

I'd rather have the solar roof than a pano roof. Even if it won't keep pace with the discharge while driving, I'd assume it would give a decent charge while parked?

I'm really surprised the Golf R did so bad

A45 (but not in that green) > FoRS > RS3 > CTR > Golf:.R
For me.
For me.
2024 Honda Civic Type R
RS3: £44,000
A45: £42,000
FoRS: £32,000
CTR: £31,000
GR: £33,000
I love the RS3 and A45 but I would never get one - RS3 doesn't have a manual option and no A45 here. This comparison goes to show how great of a value the Focus RS is. And I'm also surprised at the speed of the Golf R.

Something wrong with the Golf R.. those are GTI numbers.
Maybe it's another VW coverup..

Can't say that I'd buy a (GL)A45 with my own money, but like them.
FoRS definitely would get my own money first of the bunch.

Anyone have experience with 2009 body style Subaru Outback Wagons? My brother found one that looks really clean but I am not familiar with them enough to give him advice on what to look for. It only has 53k miles on it and is a loaded limited except navigation which personally I think is a plus not to have.

2.5, 2.5T or 3.0?

Also just found him a a 3.0R auto with only 50k miles on it. I think he would like that one better as it has more power. He is replacing a 2001 CL-S which has 183k miles on it and the transmission feels like it is about to go out for the 3rd time. I told him at this point he is just better off getting something else as some of the electronics are starting to go too.

My parents have a 3.0R Outback though it's brand new. It's really nice but the fuel economy is abysmal for something like that. It's the same or worse as my Jeep is.
Other than that, it's great, comfy, tons of features, etc... The only downside with old Subies is the headgaskets tend to want to be replaced at some point far sooner than they should.
