That looks awesome! Are those individual pieces or did you custom dye all the colors in?
These are three different color Alcantara pieces stitched up, foam cut under to give a smooth finish at the seam lines. Pretty labor intensive process haha
Is it me or i think the cars are getting toooo fast nowadays...
M8 Comp can be driven everyday and service as a normal car yet. it does 0-60 in 2s and 1/4 in mid 10s and average 26mpg, Stock everything..
The car probably has close to 800bhp with 129mph trap speed...

Nah... $150k should be able to get you that. Now if you were talking $50k, that would be a different story.
Have you been to the UK? Can be worse than the USA honestly.
Lived there for 8 years. One accident. Car was hit from behind while stopped for a red light. Not really a big deal had it happen twice here. Difference was here I was in my 4X4 truck & the hitters imports were both towed away while the hittee went about his business. At the end of the day had a rear bumper replaced by the second ones insurance company.
Does this exist in an automotive application? The Flex needs the front windows redone for bubbling & a couple scratches in the tint. Was thinking about it yesterday while on our way to dinner.
We've had transition glasses for quite a while
Shoei [maybe others?] has transition visors
I believe there are transitions contact lenses now
The Mercedes has pretty dark windows, to the point of being almost a bit too dark at night. Seems transition would make a nice compromise, even if not quite as dark during the day.
Have you guys been hearing/seeing about a replacement pair of tires going on the rear of a car?
I got a new pair of tires for my brother's Accord, and the shop insisted on putting the new pair on the rear of the car. Their logic being this discourages oversteer in a panic situation.
Found myself in another discussion about it today, and I can't wrap my head around new tires going on the rear of a car as sensible. Maybe on a RWD or AWD vehicle you'd have a case. To me, this seems like compromising front grip (very important) for rear grip (less important, especially with ABS and traction control).
