General Car Talk Discussion Thread
So much want....
Both are bad, along with the X4 & GLC Coupe.
I feel like we've talked about this before but I was just reading about the new M5 having 600hp. At some point this crazy hp chasing has to stop right? Or in 5yrs are we all going to have 1000hp DD
But I also happen to like the X4, X6, GLC and GLE...I think the GLC and GLE are among some of Mercedes better designs.
And I am not
so I cannot take credit for the 124
I met a guy last weekend who manages a Discount Tire in the Domain (a yuppie part of Austin). Apparently he gets multiple clients who spend $2500 a year on Tesla tires. Apparently they drive so quickly and the car is so damn heavy they just burn up the 21 inch tires immediately.

I don't doubt the Teslas burn through tires though. Even the base models are pretty quick.. and still hefty.
btw.. almost got suckered into buying a Model X a couple weeks back.. almost.
Instead the wife is looking at homes.
I am just glad you did not get 1 at the end of the day.

"The kid insisted on leaving it running the entire time in the water," Gillich said in an online conversation with NJ Advance Media. "He felt as though if he shut it off, he may never get it started again. I told him to at least close the driver's window. He told me not to worry about it -- the truck's waterproof."

So I finally found some time and got some real Non-RFT summer tires for my car.... In the past 20k miles, i got used to the shitty RFT and settled for it.
Got the Hankook V12, which i used on my s2k, and 335i. The first right turn after the new tires were installed reminded me why i hated the RFT so much. My car feels like the car just went through a 300 lbs diet.
The noise, handling and acceleration are all dramatically improved. Maybe it is in my head, but even the turbo lag is reduced.
Ditch your RFT!

New LFA? Or new to him?

in the ugly.

We gave the guy $5k for it. It's extremely clean but has some mechanical issues that are going to cost too much.
