14 sets of tires per year on that Murcielago. My God. Same with brakes. 8 clutches. Holy shit...
Greetings from COTA.

My father-in-law grew up on a farm about half a mile from that land. I wish he still owned it.

What is the price tag and what is the mark up

Having a debate with some other dudes. What's the sexiest sub-$100k car of all time. I'm going with NSX.
2024 Honda Civic Type R
Take your pick.
I'm still a huge fan of the F-Type

I prefer the exoticness of the NSX more but that Camaro is SEXAY
Team Owner
damn Lexus is really going head to head with the 6 series...

We got our first LC in on Monday evening and sold it yesterday morning. Sticker was just under $103k. Pictured next to it is the trade-in, a one-owner 1999 SC300 with 147k miles

I think the car looks much better in the real life pix. But i dont know if it looks $100k tho...
The LC satisfies the du ma in me. Big, foreign luxury coupe
Team Owner
i get it.

Someone throw turbos on that SC

Not sure if I like the looks of the LC. Driving characteristics may change that if I were behind the wheel, though.
NAiL05 drove it and said while the TC is very aggressive, you can still feel the tail wanting to hang out and it wouldn't take much to do so. He enjoyed it though; fun car.

The front end and most front angles of the LC are solid... However, the rear end bugs me. and, I don't see myself ever getting over that. A bunch of elements and designs that feel like they aren't working together.

I just can't imagine Lexus giving him some great trade-in offer..
You're buying a 100k ride.. does a ~2k off really beat the value of having an originally owned SC?
I guess the only thing I can figure is the owner doesn't want multiple rides..
and they're too lazy to sell it to some douche who is going to try to turn it into a supra..
But end up being some chrome nightmare.. probably.
My co-worker owns a pristine LX of that gen.. I called it a Land Cruiser once..
That trade, I wouldn't mind.

He says he wants to use it for his bike and go off-roading in it, so I eased up on him a bit. Would've beat him silly if he traded in his GS, though.

I met a guy last weekend who manages a Discount Tire in the Domain (a yuppie part of Austin). Apparently he gets multiple clients who spend $2500 a year on Tesla tires. Apparently they drive so quickly and the car is so damn heavy they just burn up the 21 inch tires immediately.
